I'm expecting that the game will be cancelled based on Covid news tonight (not looking good out there).

Would love the game on but I just can't see it happening.

Re: Away to Bristol rovers

I don't think it was a 6-0 game. Four observations: 1) A great shop window for our players today not taken. Charman didn't turn up. What a wasted opportunity for him. 2) There has got to be an end product to Darlo possession. 3) If you don't shoot you don't score. 4) It's now so important who scores...

Re: Swindon away

The boy have come a long long way since the first game. A lot sharper and a proper team effort.

Although Campbell got the goals I would give MofM to Charman. Great team performance with big players to come back/in.

I thought QuakerTV was outstanding. Living in Cambridge I'd be happy to pay a season ticket price to watch this seasons home games this way.

Fantastic product. I want more of this.

My initial expectation was that i would be using my ID number for everything. A one-stop for all interactions with the club. I was expecting to be able to buy the footy programme and order the match here. Not the case unless I've missed something. All this will come to pass. The issue, in the short...

Footy Kit - Friendlies

Does anyone know why Darlo are playing in last years footy kit for the recent friendlies? Expected to see the new kit on show. Good way of driving sales past the 700 mark.

Re: Shirt Sale Update

Living so far away from Darlington I buy all my stuff from the online Darlo shop. Agreed that the online Datlo shop is really easy to use. My experience of orders being delivered in a reasonable timeframe have been good and Lynn, at the shop, has always responded promptly to my shop questions. All i...

Watched some of the best football Darlo played, for a long time, last season.

Looking forward for much the same next season.

Re: New kit

A lot has been said about kit sales being down this year and that could well be true. There was no kit in stock before Christmas so missing out on Christmas sales. Kit out of stock at the moment for most if not all sizes. Based on the lack of stock for at least the last two month there is no wonder ...

LATE CHRISTMAS PRESENT

A late Christmas present would be to know that AA has just penned a new long term contract.

Darlo are playing some of the best footy I have seen them play in a very vey long time.

Next game up for me Boston V's Darlo. CAN'T WAIT.

First game of the season. Big improvement from last year.

Only thing to say so far. DARLO HAVE A SHOT ON GOAL.

You don't SHOOT YOU DON'T SCORE.

Give the travelling supporters a shot, then two shots, then three, then four...... to shot about.

TW - Learning His Trade

TW has learnt a hell of a lot this season about managing a squad and footy finances. If TW is here next season I think will see a player budget used with real purpose. Also player budget savings by making much more use of the loan market. Getting quality players from loan signings and on the cheap. ...

First game in a while and seeing how much Darlo have fallen. Yesterday you saw two pub teams slug it out. No quality on both sides. Thommo was the only player on the park of note. Free kick that was disallowed, quality. Spoilt with the likes of Jimmy Willis, Gill, Marco, Mardenbourgh, Grey, Corner, ...

Re: 500 Club Options to eliminate debt

I've no real issue with this offer - as long as we start budgeting properly (and the fact that we will be cutting the budget next season and have a manager who is more amenable to that should help). To those complaining - if you have better ideas for clearing the debt then I'm sure the club will be...

First Home Game Yesteday

Travelled up from Cambridge for my first home game of the season. Of the games I have seen this season I get the impression that Darlo are more likely to conceded in the first twenty minutes and if they don't there is every chance of going on to win the game. Darlo start believing in themselves and ...

My lasting memory of the game is of Gary Gill's tackle on the half way line when he scissor kicked a Kiddie play in half. Amazingly Gary didn't get booked. I guess he was pretty pissed for being behind at the time.

Barnet 0 - 2 Darlington Has to be the game against Barnet @ Underhill in our Conference title winning season. Barnet were the only team that could pip us the title. Whoever won the game, that day, were odds on, to go on, and get promoted. The boys won 2-0. Defined our season that game. Up the Darlo

Surprised that people want Salford to have as many games in the cup in the hope it gives them too much to do in the league

A 3rd round game at Old Trafford would bankroll there success in the league.

The sooner they are out of the cup the better.

Playing in a higher league and Darlo will get found out. Relying on hoofball and set plays for goals is not great and no I don't expect free flowing footy but do expect a Darlo team to be able to pass the ball between them more than 3 passes before they panic and boot it. I can't believe the amount ...
