Here's just a selection of photos I took of the match if anyone is actually interested. For some reason they've uploaded back to front, so I suggest scrolling backwards when viewing them. http://s75.photobucket.com/user/TimHickman94/media/Ossett%20Town%20Away%2018-1-14/OssettAlbionAway004_zps509bdd...

As a matter of interest, how many members does the CIC have?Markodarlo wrote:Just a note for anyone still waiting on membership packs, I'm currently just waiting on delivery of the last batch of cards, these have been dispatched and once received I will work on getting them out as soon as I possibly can.

Re: Kendal & Prescot rearranged
I'm not certain - depends on what type of ticket you buy of course - but to me that is besides the point. A perfectly valid fixture being changed for little overall added value. Even if I get a refund I'm down £20 and the cheaper advance tickets have gone for trains to Kendal.

Well thanks a fucking lot - I've just lost out on about £80-worth of rail tickets for that game. And I'm not the only one either. Fucking tin-pot wankery...

Christ's sake. FCUM are one of the few clubs around that, to my mind, are doing things the right way. They saw the way football was going and chanced their arm on doing something different, and it works. On top of that, they don't seem to have some massive complex about being non-league, which AFC ...

I am sure you once described going to watch Darlo as a 2 hour interuption to a nice afternoon in the pub, so am sure, finance aside, you don't feel too downbeat. I think you must be confusing me with someone else...hic! On a serious note I feel more for my mate Martin who rarely misses a game and i...

Re: Virgin trains and the west coast franchise
Read that they could lose another franchise. Mixed feelings. Great innovators with the computerised seat bookings and their beautiful trains but then most of the rail 'cock ups' I have ever had have involved them. Not convinced by the computerised seat reservations - don't always work and are not a...

Re: Dunston game MOVED to Friday night
Yes, but as I understand it (happy to be corrected if I'm wrong) this change was because the ground had been booked for something else before we agreed the groundshare . If so it's not much of an excuse to those who have bought non-refundable travel to get to the game on the Saturday. (I'm assuming...

I may have missed this on another thread but why exactly does Raj get to keep control of the football share after he had put the club into adminstration and he no longer had any control over the day to day running of it (the club)?

Re: Well done Darlo Trust
According to another thread, they're due to meet tonight and then members will be consulted. It's not the Trust's £40k we should be concentrating on now, but the next £40k from fans, businesses etc. and regaining the momentum. I agree but the recommendations of the Trust could well influence whethe...

Re: Worst Cover Versions of Songs
Matt Cardles cover of Many of Horror is the worst cover ever. Biffy clyro are a band that shouldn't be covered, and changing the name of the song to 'When We Collide' just made it even more annoying. I agree. Covering a band as s*** as Biffy Clyro smacks of desperation. There are thousands of bette...

I have recently (start of this month) rejoined the Trust and got a very nice letter from them welcoming me back. It included an update of what had been going on in February. It contained the names of 4 Directors. I don't know if this information is only for Trust members or not but I guess to be ce...

If the Trust are saving this money for a 'rainy day' then have they not noticed its f***ing pissing down. I'm seriously concidering withdrawing my membership of the trust. There needs to be a vote for members to decide what happens to the 'rainy day' money. At this stage of share purchasing if it g...

I could reveal details on Gazettelive now (could have done hours ago), but agreed not to because it's not signed. I'll spell it out. TBH living and working down south for close to 25 years. After awhile you get used to being referred to as Doncaster. Most Monday mornings I'll go into work and someone will say 'how did Donny do at the weekend'. I now simply reply 'I don't know'! Same for me too. And her indoors as everyone confus...

I assume they must be willing but you're right, it would be good to hear it. From my own time on the Trust Board I think the stated priorities only included supporting a Phoenix club if all efforts to save the club in its current form had failed. But my memory isn't what it was and I may be mistake...

Ralph I stand by my belief that the Board must behave in a rational and procedural manner. Your joint resignation, regardless of intention, was not dignified, it was done at an hour and in a manner that appeared to many on here as if it was posted under the influence. Tony Taylor resigned due to a ...
