Re: Peter Peter Gibson
You are assuming he had not already been in touch with the club which may not be the case. Peter Gibson has always responded quickly to any emails I have sent. He also responded with phone calls when needed for further feedback. I will be honest and say I don't like or trust Tories Tory MPs and/or ...

Pitch was cleared yesterday by fully trained pitch snow removers This is genius! What a clown! Fully trained pitch snow removers!   Can you get a certificate for that? Does it take long to achieve the required accreditation? How often do you have to refresh your qualification?

Re: Boston Game To Be Replayed
Correct decision. A match wasn’t completed and this follows precedent. Correct as per the rules. Natural justice suggests otherwise . I have no sympathy for Boston but we were well beaten in that game and were heading ,with 2 minutes (?) left, for what we richly deserved out of it: Nowt. We all kno...

We need a nasty, hard, horrible centre half who can organise and a nasty, hard, horrible , massive centre forward who can bully people, hold the ball up and score goals.

Much as I dislike Spen and his posting persona he is spot on here. Ossett didn't have the appropriate level of cover. That is the bottom line.

Re: Walsall V Darlington FA Cup First Round Proper
WHAT. A. GAME! WOW Firstly that was a game we should have won. We gave a very, very poor Walsall side 2 goals. Yes they missed at least 2 sitters but that is the (TM) Magic of the FA Cup! They were dire and almost as bad as we were under Staunton. Connel made two mistakes that nearly cost us but we ...

Re: Walsall V Darlington FA Cup First Round Proper
I am really looking forward to Saturday but more from a vindication point of view. This is us back on the big stage and taking another step back to where we belong. The result doesn't really matter. What does matter is that we are there. It shows that the idiots and the FA who tired to kill us faile...

Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall
I am ok with the draw. It is a proper game against a proper club we have all heard of in a proper ground. This is what we have been trying to get back to these years. This is us back on the big stage. Lets go down therein numbers and see if we can get something. They are in poor form and don't seem ...

Re: FA CUP FIRST ROUND
Depends entirely on the draw! Sunderland at home for example would be basically guaranteed to be on TV I am not sure. The story is surely someone like Malden & Tiptree or Natwhich rather than us. They always go with the smallest clubs. Dulwhich Hamlet have a lot of hipster, media hype about them an...

Re: FA CUP FIRST ROUND
is it wrong i would take the bye and the cash?
If not lets have an away game at a club with a decent attendance. We aren't going to be on TV because there are still smaller sides left in the draw so lets get the most cash we can.

I would prefer Chasetown as they are in a lower division and that gives us slightly more chance of being on TV meaning more money.

Burn really needs sorting out with a move. He clearly hasn't made the transition to P/T football at all well.

Personally i don't mind who is interviewing who and what the process is. I am happy to let that process play out and let the people in the room make the decision based on a face to face selection process rather than we should have X because he has a name I recognize! The successful candidate has to ...

Re: Female managers
The problem would arise if the female manager took a fancy to one of our players. For example if Tommo was having a stinker but our new gaffer had a soft spot for smaller rugged looking players with tatts and a slight bald patch, would she really haul him off if he was having a stinker. Likewise if...
