Re: Craig Morley

Some people on the Tin Shed really don't get social media and are posting some 'I heard this and I heard that' rumours, with some potentially very defamatory stuff being posted. I honestly don't think some of them can differentiate between gossiping in the pub and putting it out there for people to...

Re: Craig Morely

Seems a weird business decision to pull your sponsorship because ban individual has left, regardless of how well you got on with that person. If the package you're getting is not affected, then nothing has changed. If it was good for your business before, it still is now. If you were a potential sp...

Re: Blyth game

It's a precarious position for Blyth the way they are operating now. I noticed that four of their starting XI against us were loanees and another loanee came off the bench. That's the maximum you can have in a match-day squad. We saw the damage that even one recall can do if it's a valuable player ...

Re: Darlington V Spennymoor

My first game of the season (note to self, I really need to make more effort). Throughly enjoyed the day. The result, atmosphere and teamwork shown by Darlo was off the scale! Managed to have very drunken chats with Thomo, Alun and Will Hatfield, which also made my day. My head hurts..... Just sorti...

Re: Darlington V Blyth

Sounded like another good night for O'Neill he is one of the key members of that attacking 4 at the moment, one that makes the ball stick high up the pitch. Attacking 2. In a 4-4-2. The other 2 in your "attacking 4", we call them "wingers". It was so 4-4-2 last night that a 3 year old could have id...

I have to say the last time I did hospitality (can’t remember the opponents but it was Grand National day), the food was really, really poor. Tbh I’d think twice about doing it again.

Just loved those scenes from the dressing room after the game, with the Derby players and Lampard singing that Oasis song back at the Leeds fans. I don't think I've ever seen a manager so in tune with his players and the fans. I'm sure that one day he'll manage England. Jeez I hope he doesn't get t...

Das Boot and True Detective (series 3) are superb.
Berlin is worth a watch too.

Also Trapped (Icelandic), series two started a few weeks ago; series one was very good

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM

There were a few people near me at the match who were saying that the team Hartlepool played against us were second string or youth, and I had no idea to be honest, so checked line up on the video today. Also on the Poolie bunker I looked to see what a couple of there fans were wanting on the team ...

Aren't they only selling to season ticket holders? I would expect them to stick on general sale either tomorrow or Monday. I’m not sure they’re allowed to or have I dreamt that! https://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/news/2019/january/160119-update-on-tickets-for-hartlepool-united-cup-tie-at-darlington...

Ta. Thought so. And I thought Tim Parkin was 'big boned' Reminds me of any 5-a-side footy I've ever played where the fat ogga who turns up in tracky bottoms and a t-shirt with half his tea down the front is the best player by miles. Regardless of the lack of significance of the DCC a match against old rivals is a chance to get a good crowd and bring some much needed cash into the club. Why not treat the match as a fundraiser and make buying a ticket as your donation. You don’t have to actually go to the match if you don’t want...

Some seem only to be happy if this game attracts 200 rather than 2,000, I also feel guilty for coming up for it. Beggars belief tbh! Come on ComeOnDarlo, you're better than that. No one is saying this at all. If we get 2,000, great. But even if we get 2,000, it still doesn't mean this is a signific...
