Re: Darlo -Diary .We need significant change.

I’ve heard the DFCSG board is pressing for change so as the owner I can’t see him being here after Saturday so not DJ’s shout really. If he is going best to let him go before Saturday for his own self respect no point stringing it out. It absolutely is DJ's shout. He's the chief executive who runs ...

Re: Darlo -Diary .We need significant change.

For me, everything is now pointing to the end of the road for TW. I expect us to hear something once Saturday is done and dusted. It's surely the only possible outcome for the wellbeing of the club. If we are making a change, I hope it's as soon as possible after Saturday so that we can get a hypot...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

For the last time, I did not mention play offs I. KNOW. THIS. IS. MY. ACTUAL. POINT. My point was any manager will have to use loans was made in regards to your point about squad rebuilding every close season so that will happen no matter what. You brought up that others were on about the play offs...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

And there you go, decided to put this to bed. First time I quoted you, i mentioned the training and also that any manager we have next season will be using the loan market. It’s only since then that you brought up the play offs, not me. It had nothing to do with the original quote at all. I merely ...

Re: Guiseley match thread

One step forward, two steps back under Wright yet again.

Why people get themselves hyped up after a good mini-run is beyond me. It's been the same for 18 months under Wright. Indeed it was like that at Nuneaton too. It will never change as long as he stays in charge.

I mean there's only three posts to go through. Let's face it, everyone can see you were wrong. You're just too weak to admit it. Like I said, you've had a stinker here. Stupid and dumb? Maybe in your view. Plenty of people think you are a cock with your constant argumentative and patronising posts. I'm sure they do and that's absolutely fine by me. I notice you haven't pointed out where I said you were commenting about the play-offs. Dodging my question altogether...

Darlogramps back to his patronising best. I have to patronise you if you'...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

I haven't said anything about challenging for the play offs next season, all I have said is that the club will be looking for long term loans next season rather than relying on permanent signings all the time. Crikey, this is like pulling teeth. I'll break it down because you're clearly struggling....

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

This training thing has been done to death, it was all to do with work commitments and injuries making it difficult to do proper preparation for a match. Except that's not what Wright said. He complained of players using every excuse under the sun not to turn up. We all listened to the interview an...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

I wonder if the people who are constantly calling for Wright's head ever consider the human cost of somebody losing their livelihood. Darlington FC doesn't owe TW a living. If he's not doing a good job (and even his fanboys admit he's underperformed this season), then the club are perfectly entitle...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

We had the same poll last month and the result was a majority wanted TW gone. Andy is pro-TW and wouldn't have set this up if Darlo hadn't won three on the spin. For once I actually agree with Darlo_Pete. Doubtless we'll have to have another poll at the end of the season too. Oh get off your fuckin...

I think we have seen enough over recent weeks we could potentially flirt with the playoffs next season *Face palm* Get in the bloody sea will you. Well I’ve never heard that take on it, and if true it makes for a strange kind of contract, whereby it can be terminated by one party (and one party only)with no kind of financial compensation. Are you sure you’ve got this right? And no, we didn’t want Gray skulking around bringing everybody down. ...

I would like to see continuity for next season, no good ever came from chopping and changing. Would anybody really trust TW this summer with another decent budget, especially given that the budget is being cut again placing a greater emphasis on quality over quantity next season? Re: Trotman extends contract

Lots of straw-clutching going on here. Trotman is one of our most, if not our most sellable player. Tying him down guarantees us a fee should he leave, or means we have him around for next year. It's just sensible management from DJ. A fairly obvious move. I think it means very little with regards W...

The stats don't really look good for Wright no matter how you cut them...has he ever had a third season somewhere though? Always the same with QuakerPete. He's never wrong apparently, and anything which suggests an alternative opinion is either corrupt or stupid according to him. It's not all infinitely about what you or I think.
Given this is a messageboard, it is about what people think.

And a majority of people think TW is hopeless and needs to go.

Plenty also think your opinions are flimsy and worthless.

It’s very easy I guesss as a Spenny fan to think more games is great but you have no worries whether they are profitable or not as Brad can cover any losses. I said in another post a few weeks ago that TW/AW should be given 10 weeks into next season, and was castigated for even mentioning it, oh how things change, In the words of Theresa May, nothing has changed. Giving someone 10 weeks at the start of a season was, and remains, a stupid idea. Whoever i...
