Re: What is clear....

There was no conflict between AA soccer centre & DFC academy.

This was a business decision by AA & nothing to do with DFC.

Re: New Manager Interviews this week

Pete Jameson - Blyth supporters player of the year & players player of the year this season.

He's an excellent keeper & has improved at Blyth under a manager who has restored his confidence after MG destroyed it.

Re: Early Bird Season Tickets

The early bird season tickets time window is very similar to the last two years. March 1st has always been when we planned to put the early birds on sale this year. Last season we launched it in late Feb, this year on March 1st. In 2017 the early bird window closed on April 15th. This year its closi...

Re: Netcafe - 14 December 2018

It’s in the accounts isn’t it? My understand was always that rent was around £35K and the other £30K was a cost of service we pay to the rugby club. Depending on what agenda you have will depend on what number you want to use. The rent I understand, could you please elaborate on the £30K 'cost of s...

Re: Gamble?

It's pretty clear that Styche and Syers have been moved on to pay for the new Commercial Manager. Whilst it seems sensible on paper, it's a huge gamble: Losing these two players may be what costs us our place in the NLN, with the attendant reduced income from lower crowds and (no doubt) lower admis...

752 through the turnstile and 50 in hospitality. DFC gain nothing by overstating a crowd!

Hughes can play anywhere from CB to CF.

At 6ft 4 he isn't going to be out muscled by any one.

I've been told he is more than capable of playing a holding midfield role.

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget

I have repeated my (modest) monthly pledge that I started last season. I do not think it is possible to add any additional one off payment without cancelling the current pledge (which I do not want to do). I would however be happy to put a bit more cash in for a final push before the deadline so I ...

At 30/6/17 there was £255,000 of debt due in less than one year. I wonder how we have managed to get rid of most of that (presumably down to normal trading levels) by the end of February. I can only think of the £60,000 money from the 500 Club as exceptional income towards it. £109k of that was mad...

Yes just get them from quaker retail at the Dolphin Centre. I very much doubt this will be a sell out.
You can also buy them online (& no fees, unlike Harrogate):

I personally thought Beck's 'booing' was more of a pantomime, tongue in cheek booing. He got plenty of applause where we were near the tunnel. I think it was pantomime too. I don't blame him for moving on as he wanted full time football, although was his heart in it at the start of the season? He w...

It would be good if we had better online ticketing - maybe even an app that can be scanned at the turnstiles. This way we could offer tickets weeks before games all year round, at a reduced price (£10 or £12). The reduced price would encourage more people to buy upfront and allows a quicker access ...

We've played 9 league games so far. Our average is 1511. I'm forecasting that we'll average 1543 for rest of season, purely because games against Salford, Harrogate, York & Blyth will pull in higher than average crowds, York in particular should be an excellent gate. The rest of the games, bar Kidde...

£2m - sounds a lot doesn't it but in reality its 4 seasons of subsidising a full time playing budget. Then what?
