Re: season tickets on sale

The season ticket prices next season are higher, probably because of the extra two home games but what happens if the leagues don't rejig and the same amount of games are played as this season? Will the prices be adjusted? This is more of a rhetorical question............ i thought id read somewher...

Hopefully they will extend the early bird to allow more time to purchase due to the uncertainty with jobs and money in the current climate.
not to mention how many are now wondering if and when there will be a next season (depending when this season is finished)

Re: Coronavirus and DFC

Sorry for the people at Barnet who face an uncertain future but I cannot help wondering how a small club like them could afford so many non football staff. They are only one league above us. Things will never be the same again for many teams and I am convinced that teams without a sugar daddy will ...

Rugby club must be very worried about their revenue stream & in a way Covid19 could do us a favour if they went into administration.
unless im missing something then how would this help?

Wayne Rooney - "The next World Cup is in November and December 2022, so you could actually use this situation as an opportunity and say we're going to finish the 2019-20 season later this year, then prepare for 2022 by having the next two seasons starting in winter." i said that to a fan yesterday ...

If you do that without a break in between seasons I.e next season kicks off in October a week after this season has concluded in September having had a break from now until then it'll be impossible. Player recruitment, contracts, budgets for teams playing in different leagues etc. are all to be ove...

If as seems likely our games are postponed or played behind closed doors, what will happen to the season. Will the season just be cancelled, as it would be almost impossible to play it over the summer, as players won't be available?
id be surprised if they implement it at our level.

Not sure if I am correct here but did the rugby not take out a mortgage to pay for the changing rooms and building improvements which will be paid back through our rent. No doubt if we pulled out they would be in deep s*** as I don't think they would have the income to maintain the payments. wouldn...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC

It’s very worrying for a number of reasons but like you say from a financial aspect it could be problematic. Many of our fans are of an advancing age and clearly at bigger risk of serious illness. Even if matches go ahead I expect crowds will be down partly due to this. We’ve also got a pretty much...

Also, we've repeatedly shown we can compete with full time teams in individual games. Taken over the course of a season we may not be able to maintain the standards we set in some of those, and we may be relegated again, but we wouldn't be embarrassed by any stretch. Of course we should aim to go u...

I was told this at 5pm. There could be numerous reasons though, and I too wonder what they are.

He was there at the game so it looks like there hasn't been a fall out.
Unless he was told this at 5pm as well!
he knew before the game as i overheard him telling somebody in the car park.
