Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall

Plus, unbelievably, yet another game for us Midlands Exiles. We've had 3 ties on the trot. There are a lot of us, a few hundred at least , and as Birmingham is dead in the centre of the country, exiles from everywhere can get to this one, as well as fans living in Darlington.

Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall

4 away ties on the spin is a 1 in 16 chance.
The gate is whatever we make it. Probs 3,500 Walsall fans max. If we can fill the away end ( 2,000 capacity but with the potential for more) then could be a decent gate. Damn site better than Dover away would have been.

Re: FA CUP FIRST ROUND

I've made a complete f*** up for the first round. Wife and daughter are going to a concert at the NEC the same day as Leamington away, on the 9th, so I booked an Airbnb in Marston Green that night. Me and boy would go to the game, they would go to the gig, we'd pick them up after and everything wou...

Ron, not all doom and gloom. I'm in Birmingham with the family that day so will be there. Walsall away was the nearest the to where I happen to be.

What about Hatfield winning back the ball twice for 2 of our goals. Turnbull's replacement and then some.

If Campbell is not scoring then he's assisting. Against Alfreton he put the ball on a sixpence for the equaliser. Then away at Leamington again he chips the ball in to the box on a sixpence for the first goal. AA has said that it'll take time for him to rediscover the skills and techniques needed to...

Boston is my local club and their ground is huge with masses of advertising space. Jakemans sponsor the stadium and the Co-operative has a significant sponsorship with one of the stands. Their new ground is on the edge of town and is part of a massive new project, with new houses and a retail park. ...

Actually Harry, I for one am glad LoidLucan posted that as I found it interesting.
Just shows that Armstrong's method of choosing a player, where both skill AND attitude count, is a strong one.

Re: Hereford v tamworth

They are going well but in terms of an away tie I would rather this one than any in the league above and lots in our league like a side such as Brackley, York or King's Lynn. It's a better tie than Hereford and far closer, allowing more fans to go and back us. I also don't think the plastic pitch w...

No it means the FIFA does not permit the deal to happen outside of the transfer window
Surprised the transfer window isn't seen as restraint of trade especially in situations like this where seasons don't correspond exactly within the EU area.
