Re: Sports village

We're not the alternative source of investment are we?

Regarding Eastbourne, It's been looked into and the transport infrastructure is insufficient.

Re: Sports village

The issue isn't the Arena though. DJ said it was essential going forward that we eventually developed a plot of land up at the Arena site that we could build up in time and move to. This would be the only way that we could make enough money to be self sufficient. If this was tied in to the SV then t...

Re: Sports village

Don’t know what the problem is.They only wanted the council to come up with 17million :o :o They were never going to do that. I wonder how long DMP have kept this request for the council to stump up 85% of the project close to their chest, as surely if this had been their intention all along then i...

Re: Increasingly unlikely playoffs

South Shields made the mistake of using local solicitors Hadaway and Shite. It clearly didn’t go down well with the bigwigs from the FA. It wouldn't matter who they used they would never of won , and to suggest its because of them solicitors they lost is utter tosh Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapat...

Re: Increasingly unlikely playoffs

According to fylde chairman it will cost clubs £150k to play in play offs. There is also insurance on top of that. Clubs in NLN surely cannot afford that! That’s what he wants them to think! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Agreed that it's a game. He's trying to gaslight Step 2 clubs to not take...

Most other countries are regionalised to some degree from the 3rd tier down. As you say, to have that down to tier 5 is mad.

Re: The Team 20/21 season

Can't happen. As simple as that. Totally unfair on some clubs. Great for Farsley who don't get anywhere near 25% of their capacity. Not so good for us. 750 is a big drop on our average crowd. OK if there's something happens like clubs are subsidised for the loss off earnings that is caused by how fa...

Sorry to disappoint you but that won't stop me or other people posting critically about him if there's a discussion to be had. You say people should just 'be kind' but no-one is being unkind, or vindictive. All I see is people discussing a player who had a poor spell for us. It's bordering on delusi...

People here I think have been very fair. They're not having a dig at the person, they're having a dig at his attitude. And if I can add something else to the debate here. If he had been so low in confidence that he couldn't face playing fooball, and that's why he refused loan moves, then he wouldnt ...

In a standard job if you were not pulling your weight and doing the bare minimum whilst having a bad attitude then you would be on competence procedures.

Re: Cartman +Burn

Sorry, but I for one am not defending him. He had a very poor attitude for us when he played and took up a big chunk of the budget for 2 years when this should have been a chance for him to reignite his career. Apparently didn't want to know when AA came in and was happy to sit on a wage rather than...

Re: Increasingly unlikely playoffs

Kings Lynn are going up via PPG and no play-offs. Only Chorley to come down from the NL. York City will be gutted with this, McGill may be having second thoughts about his level of funding going forward and this could be fuelling the rumours about a number of players leaving. Talk of signing York players is this not a bit premature as the EFL have yet to decide how the season will end as regards promotion and relegation in our leagues? Possibly I would add Gould and Boyes to that list. Ryan Whitley is contracted until May 2021. Also disappointed to learn that Adam Wrightson is not Jeff's son. I just can’t see both keepers staying at York - if Jameson stays they might send Whitley out on loan again ? I don't think they will either...

Re: The Team 20/21 season

Sol Brynn is 19 and U23 keeper at Boro. A long term loan of a keeper, like Aynsley Pears, seems like a sensible move for a club like ours. It benefits both clubs and would save some money on the playing budget.
Adam Wrightson is a current Blyth player.
BTW, what sort of forward is Maguire?
