Re: Josh Gowling...
Well - quite an inspired choice. I'm pleased that the Club didn't go down the route of appointing one of the 'Merry-Go-Round' ex-managers with a history of failure elsewhere. I do hope that having a fresh face together with someone who knows the Club will prove to be a great combination. Both seem e...

Re: Changes to league rules on Streaming live games
Most clubs are using the BT camera but I know for a fact a handful aren't because their own cameras are better. The footage is 1080i (I can tell just by looking at it, which isn't great for 2022). BT aren't exactly handing out top of the range cameras to clubs in the national league. It'll just be ...

Re: Kettering v Darlo
Note how they edited out the appalling tackle on Lambert just before the penalty. Was it a particular highlight of the match - a foul? There was no caution for a tackle on Lambert before the penalty so assume it wasn't that stand out? Or are you perhaps showing a little bit of bias there in a persp...

We sure are lucky to have Kev and the team that do our media! What poor editing. Note how they edited out the appalling tackle on Rivers just before the penalty.
edited - mistakenly identified Lambert rather than Rivers

Re: Match POSTPONED NO JOKE
Perhaps change the title to reference the Telford game so as not to confuse with future matches.
What a bugger - really looking forward to this afternoon, however shows that the correct Covid protocols are in place at the Club. I'm sure it will not be the only match off during the season.

Quaker TV Broadcast Format
I watch the broadcast of our matches on my desktop PC using a 21" x 12" (24" diagonal) HD monitor. I prefer the clearer, smaller broadcasting format as used by Alfreton & Guiseley. Quaker TV seems to take up most of my screen (when not set to full screen) and seems a little blurred. Is it possible t...

Re: Curzon Ashton 31/10/20
Just to make people aware I have checked the Curzon site and the game is being streamed for the price of £6.95. Looking forward to seeing some league action and getting some points on the board. Thanks Ste that’s good to know. Should be a good game as their pitch is usually in great condition. Prob...

Re: AGM
I wonder if we're going to see a change in the approach to hospitality next year then. It's looked notably emptier a few times this year than usual. It was better valued before - but also that differential for season ticket holders to upgrade should be looked at, so they deduct the whole price of t...

BT Sport coverage Darlo vs. Walsall
I was fortunate to be at the game.
I don't have BT Sport and wondered for those that did view the coverage what their impressions were. How were we as a team and as a Club portayed?

Re: Extended ban
I think it appalling that the Club have 'named and shamed' on their official website and twitter account.
Surely this should have been kept private between the Club and the individual.
Whoever is in charge of PR needs to review the actions taken.

Rather surprised that there is no hospitality package avialable for the Motherwell match. This would have been a great opportunity to showcase what the Club has to offer.

Re: Hospitality
At £45 this now puts our hospitality package as the most expensive in the division. Two fundamental problems remain: 1. The food quality is not up to standard for the price 2. There is no covered seating adjacent to the hospitality suite - it's not acceptabe asking patrons to walk to the other side ...

After todays game this is the current Form table over the past 5 matches - makes sobering reading (though may be worse of you ae a Spennymoor fan): 1. Altrincham 5 4 1 0 14:2 13 2. Brackley Town 5 4 1 0 9:2 13 3. Stockport 5 4 0 1 8:3 12 4. Chorley 5 3 2 0 9:1 11 5. Alfreton 5 3 2 0 7:3 11 6. Herefo...

Re: Darlington V Telford
And speaking of dugouts, from the raised up position of the balcony you could notice that there was so much activity from the Telford one, cajouling, organising, even at times skulduggery-but from ours? I too like theoriginalfatcat viewed the match from the clubhouse balcony and would echo his comm...

I phoned FCUM yesterday to try and arrange disabled parking and seating for the match. Quite shambolic. Do not press '1' for tickets this transfers you to their booking agency Eventim that first of all couldn't find the match, secondly said it was not available then said it was fully booked. All wro...

Re: Southport v Darlington
Just back from the game. How it ended 0-0 I'll never know, if Southport had had a half decent striker they could have won 4-0 (or more). However, the positive to take from this was the stout and resolute defending from Darlo having defenders in the right place (on the goal line) at the right time. I...

Re: Ashton United on Monday
Well that was a much better performance than Saturday. Clearly some enforced changes with Glabraith out through injury and Collins seemingly out of the picture. Ashton scored two cracking goals early on - not much the defence could have done about either of them (those that criticised the defence fo...
