Re: Kevin Luff
One thought. Who owns the equipment that Kev uses? It’s a mixture of mine, fan funded and club purchased. During the Quaker TV period / pandemic I did suggest the club start to pick up some of the new gear purchases as then it would be theirs. Mainly for future planning and continuity, like this si...

Re: Purver to Scarborough
Difficult to read those as anything other than a cheap shot. Can say what you want about lack of media training etc but it doesn't need any to know how comments like these are going to go down. Which is a shame to be honest. I never quite understand why players feel the need to burn bridges (intenti...

Re: Telford v Darlo
Sodding typical we go and get a banging result... I joked on twitter as the game started someone would score a hat-trick. Hoping the goals get sent over tonight. If they do I'll be sure to do something with them. Supposed to be a league requirement but there seems to be some issue between the ...

Re: Changes to league rules on Streaming live games
Most clubs are using the BT camera but I know for a fact a handful aren't because their own cameras are better. The footage is 1080i (I can tell just by looking at it, which isn't great for 2022). BT aren't exactly handing out top of the range cameras to clubs in the national league. It'll just be t...

Re: Changes to league rules on Streaming live games
There is a feed to BT of the games. In the national league BT provides a camera to each club and the feed from that camera gets sent direct to BT over the internet (I think each club had BT fibre installed or other infrastructure put in a couple of seasons ago and the camera just connects via SDI). ...

Re: Changes to league rules on Streaming live games
The announcement is basically about an announcement that's going to happen in the future. Peak national league. I'll wait until I see what comes out of it but I have a lot of thoughts... A LOT! I do think they run the risk of making no one happy with this. We were one of the more successful clubs wh...

Re: Early kick offs in general…
It obviously won't suit everyone but to be honest I quite enjoyed the 1pm kick-off yesterday. Was home earlier, had all the video stuff boxed off (including a full set of highlights - granted only one camera angle to deal with which does speed things up) before 10:30pm. Mean I'm not doing anything S...

Was a class afternoon that one.... Highlights are below if anyone wants to remind themselves
https://youtu.be/Z6LyAO8srb0
We really gave them a good going over in the second half and scored the second pretty much immediately after equalising.

Re: Darlo v Kettering
The game was awful from both sides. They might have had a few wayward crosses etc but the goal was pretty much their only meaningful attack of the game. We were awful as well. A goalless draw would have been far more reflective of just how bad it was. However we always seem to have a defensive mista...

Re: Southport...
You could tell on Tuesday night we would be in for a long night pretty much straight away. Southport were probably in a false position ahead of kick-off, speaking to one of their media team they felt performances had been decent and a win would come eventually. Having watched some of their highlight...

Re: Darlo v York
Not sure its anything to do with being biased and more to do with the fact that they only get one chance to look at it and are on the other side of the pitch. I thought it was a yellow card at the time but the angle from the tinshed end makes it look pretty bad.

Re: Darlo v York
Wasn't convinced at the time the challenge deserved a red card, a yellow at best. However there is another angle from in front of the tinshed that would be more like what the referee saw. And it doesn't look particularly great. From that angle I can see why it has been given as a red. I'm not sure i...

Put the goals on our youtube channel from the footage they sent. No sound unfortunately and somewhat compressed.
I'd of gone but they weren't allowing us to use their gantry so figured it would be better saving Flexi time etc for a midweek game where I can film from.

Alun has said in his pre-match interview we are still working on the big and experienced defender. There is certainly enough flex in the budget. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpxe4ijpowE Taylor must have something about him. Seems like the change of manager at Sunderland is the only thing that sto...

Re: Brackley v Darlo
The club are doing everything they can in fairness. They've got a rules and stuff which they follow and people are being careful. But at the end of the day there is only so much they can do. And they aren't been given any help from the league. None of the clubs at this level are. Its been pathetic f...

Re: Brackley v Darlo
The silence from them suggests they are adamant about continuing. I find it all a bit perplexing tbh. I can't go to my office (haven't been in since March and have to work from home) yet I can go and film a game of football. Very weird to me. They'll say we're elite but the reality on the ground is ...

Re: Swindon away GOFUNDME page set up see below for details
Not sure where we stand with streaming at the moment - I know we're allowed to. Although the draw has only just been made so plenty can happen. Swindon will obviously part of iFollow so that wouldn't cover the FA Cup. I would imagine a lot of the iFollow practicalities will be sorted by the league (...

Yeah I’ll be doing highlights.
Pointless them saying no now. Home clubs have to submit the footage of the match which is made available to all clubs anyway, so it’s a waste of time saying no.

Myself and the rest of the team appreciate the kind words. For our first real go without any real practice time we're pleased with how it's come out. A few minor niggles to work through (like me not getting tangled in a million miles of SDI cable in the first half  ) but hopefully we can only ...

We're re-running the whole game on May the 9th. There will be more details nearer the time on the official website.
