Re: Sports village

You would assume that all the interested and relevant parties in this venture have been aware of the terms of the deal. That being the case I would hope that DJ had decided long ago that there was not a snowballs chance in hell of the council parting with 17 million to get this project done. DJ is a ...

Re: Potential new signings

I see the Mackems have let 24 go. The majority of these are players aged under 24 so presumably haven't had much if any first team involvement. I've no idea who they are though I'm sure others will. From the number alone though you'd think there may be one or two that could perhaps do a job for us?...

What about Wilson kneeshaw, i think he was told to get fit and and would be looking at a trial is that still a possibility.
Pissed off halfway through a fitness program apparently and hasn’t been heard of since.

I’m guessing but I’d say one third is based on a target of £100k

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Could well be as that was the original target but hopefully more.

Playing budget

So.What do we think it’s going to be.According to the BtB pitch the total “makes up around a third”of the playing budget. That would mean somewhere between 350 and 400k .That is one hell of a pile of cash Over to you Al,fill your boots . And again,a huge well done to everyone that contributed

Re: Boost the budget

I thought this year we could achieve 120k even with everything going on because of the season we have had and the feel good factor around the place. I still believe we can achieve this with a late push, however looking at it with 7 days to go 110k is a more realistic figure. So far 423 have contrib...

Re: Potential new signings

I would keep Reid. Intelligent player with a physical presence who can play across a number of positions in the side. In fact, I don’t think the question should be asked of keeping him or Hedley. Both are good enough and will stay. In terms of Elliott, I was hammered for saying he would cost us poi...

Re: Boost the budget

Awesome start as to be expected. I will be increasing my pledge slightly because I believe that Alun will spend wisely on good players, as shown last season. One slight misgiving is no target has been set, why? Darlo fans love a target. Another slight concern is it comes across a bit defeatist when...

Maybe any refund money from last season for 4 missed games on season tickets and car park fees could be added to the total. As long as people don’t need it of course. What refund money? The play off semi final against the vibe of County Durham must be up there somewhere.A full house ,a goal down and a late, late winner.Must admit though,Whitby was an unbelievable night. One memory is the endless trail of head lights over the moors in the rear view mirror on the way home.

I see the target has been halved. Bit disappointing when others have managed 20k easily (eg Altrincham) and they aren't fan owned.
Maybe Alty fans aren’t also paying into a boost the budget scheme like a lot of us are.
