Re: Local clubs released lists

It looks like pretty much the entire squad at Blyth is out of contract and Jon Shaw will be highly likely to get the push so can't really enter into talks with players. There are strong rumours that some have already sorted out deals elsewhere. Wonder what their new owner is feeling right now? Pret...

Re: Gateshead - ineligible for playoffs

Seems really tough on the Gateshead team, I can't imagine it will help in their preparations for the FA Trophy final. Their fans must be gutted. One positive, no unexpected game injuries from play-offs. Do agree that rules are being interpreted in several different ways for different clubs when gro...

Congrats for being spot on about the relegated four and who would have thought we'd end up 16th?
As a bit of an encore, who do you think will go up with Tamworth? If our results are anything to go from, Chorley have got a good chance.

Does Lineker not realise that by scrapping replays, he is doing himself out of appearance money? Or is this a case of turkey voting for Christmas??

I doubt it, not even sure he is still with us.
If he puts either BM or Eastbourne into his Satnav will probably say "address not recognised"
He has been spotted in his bathchair on the prom at Eastbourne asking to join in games on the beach & cashing in his pay cheque to Cayman Islands bank.

Re: FA Cup replays scrapped from R1 in 24/25

Not radical enough for me. Start with 5 penalties, then if all square, play 15mns each way. At end of 30mns if all square, play extra 90 mns. Finally, again if all square, toss a coin. In extreme circumstances, like waterlogged or frozen pitch or Black Death both teams agreeing beforehand, just flip...

Suppose we could chop the Tin Shed into squares & flog it off to raise funds for improvements. Nostalgia does have a value & I was in there 1960's & 70's too.

Yep. Remember the 36 inch water main going diagonally from open end that limits building. Surely we can't get rid of the Tin Shed - only part of Feethams we still have?

For those talking about stadium requirements: For National League North you need to have 500 seats and show the ability of how you can upgrade your ground to 4000 capacity. For National League there are no other requirements but to show you can upgrade your ground to 5000 capacity. I would love to ...

If true, that news is as big as yesterday's three points. :D  Spot on. Terry M looked to be as tall as Lawlor as he took in the applause on the lap of appreciation. I am sure a number of players felt the same & could be influenced to stay. However I am resigned to not seeing Matty Young in a ...

did Banbury get officially relegated last night by Spennymoor which puts them in playoffs at the moment?
Lee got Manager of the month & has taken Moors out of the relegation zone & into playoffs. If we had got Watson & Mitchell in earlier instead of Clowning we would have been up there too.

There was something wrong with Southport. It was a big game for them too, yet they looked disinterested. I loved Young’s continual baiting of the same Southport forward 😁 making him run in to the far corner of the penalty box before he picked the ball up. It was pantomime like. Yes, he was almost w...

Would have loved to see David Speedie upfront with Marco.
Alan Walsh on the wing to provide for them both.
