Re: Scunthorpe...
Any chance of a loan from Scunthorpe? Not any player but their director Tahina Akther a barrister who was the person responsible for creating their CIC. Some miracle worker there!

That is a relief & hopefully JG can sort out the squad with time to get injured players fitter & plan ahead.

Re: They don't think much of our chances
Am finding best odds of us staying up & will put £5 on & my winnings into next season's BTB.
Statistically we cannot be so bad for the rest of the season

May be they can teach us something, as this extract from their official website shows:- "Glanford Park has been bought by a not-for-profit company, securing the home of Scunthorpe United for generations and creating a new, sustainable future for the club. As part of the deal, an anticipated 100 jobs...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
At the end of the day Gowlings signings have been just awful, barring a couple. I cannot see us surviving if he remains in charge and if the board stick with him next season really think the BTB will be a disaster. Sent from my SM-A145R using Tapatalk And AA’s were great and he spent the 160k well??...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
⬆️ See your point. I like Salkeld - he's got potential, I think we'll see him improve. Yes, he has tried a fair few positions but up front in centre seems right for him. Asante or Nelson could forge a decent partnership with him& have put away some of the half chances he created and start the team ...

Re: Warrington
1st 45mns we played really well, pressed & had a bit of luck when Warrington hit our bar. Defence held a high line very well & we scored a rare Rivers goal to round off an excellent move. 2nd half we had a chance to wrap it up if Moke had shot rather than passing. Gradually Warrington got on top & i...

Re: Kieran Burton
Gutted Burton has gone back, was really hoping we would be able to extend his loan, I honestly don’t think Sukar, lees or lawlor are good enough (in my opinion) but it is what it is! Agree with all that. Loanees are at best a sticking plaster solution which can lead to complications if we get to re...

Every schoolboy error was there, from senseless dangerous challenges, woeful marking & no system plus some cracking goals from Chorley & Moke. The Fans Forum needs to be postponed while this debarcle sinks in & people calm down.

Re: Hazel
Got to be a part-exchange deal, as the 1st half against Chester proved we can do without Hazel & score goals. He is a luxury that Gowling cannot afford to keep picking unless Hazel can do more for the team, but I think it is a case of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks".

3-2 win, 33/1 with Betfred :D  Did you place a bet? Fair play to the team and management, off the bottom and now potentially 6 points from safety if you allow for current goal difference we probably need that extra point. On to Tuesday now. Only small stakes, but enough to get me down the pub...

Re: Darlo v Chester
TBF Nelson had a good first half, able to lay off & did plenty of covering back, more than Hazel did when he came on, ambling about then the one chance he had for 4-2, passed wide & gave all the responsibility to Will H. Salkeld scored a cracker & surprised everyone not least Chester by running at t...

It's OK, Josh knows Eddie Howe at Newcastle, he'll loan us top quality players to get us out of this mess....oh! Hull under 21's it is then FFS!!!!!!!! Things look bleak, very bleak. Thought Saturday may have been the turning point but unfortunately not. We’re going to need title challenging form after Christmas just to stay up.. I am sure there is some maths behind this - but in my simple mind. Don't we just need 9 more points than the teams arou...

I believe a bit of momentum and confidence would make a huge difference so even a point would be good, 3 would be fantastic, team wise - it has to be the same set up as Sat for me Quite right, we do need to keep up the winning ways but I think a couple of our Old Boys, Kaine Felix & Jordan Nicholso...

Not until he has been given a fair crack of the whip and I would say until the New Year at least. Young lads are not capable of coping with the physicality & poor refereeing of the NLN. King's Lynn looked like a decent pub team & by chucking together a lot of lads who had never trained together was...

Re: Tommy Taylor
This decision continues to look the worst of all. Taylor is a perfectly solid NLN keeper. Replacing him with a young kid was, and remains, absolutely barmy. The way it has been done has probably also completely undermined Gowling’s authority if he brings him back. Spot on! Will be interesting now R...
