Re: Small clubs in the north west
It should be in the rules where the EFL could temporarily step in and take charge of a clubs affairs as a short term option. That would be an illegal act by the EFL or the FA. They can no more take control of someone else's business than I can come into your house and order you how to run it. Its n...

An interesting programme has turned up on BBC iPlayer. Called “The Fort” it follows Fort William fc through last season - Fort William being the team that are forever at the bottom of the Scottish Highland league and lose most games by 7 goals or more. Sometimes getting beat 14 nil! However (like u...

I personally believe there should be a rule in place that says an Individual can separate the Ground from the Club.
If the Club dont own the ground, then it should be owned by the Local Authority or Fans Groups.

For me, mid-table is the least I expect from the coming season, a push for the play offs would be good, but anything above mid table will be a bonus.

Holness is trying to find a full-time club before committing I think. Not sure on Bascombe but I'd assume the same. As much as I would like Holness, cant fault the lad for wanting to play Full-Time...Although I hope he will commit to us if he doesn't find the FT position he is looking for Sent from...

Was it also 3 admins in a short space of time? If I remember as well, I think at the time the FA implemented a new rule to stop teams starting again a division or 2 below where they failed, sure it was after Chester and Halifax and dropped only 2 divisions to Evo-Stik D1N, and sure we were the firs...

Re: Gateshead relegated to NLN
So what are the differences between what happened to us and Gateshead? We were heavily punished 7 years ago and forced to start from the Northern League, not even the Evostik Northern Premier, yet Gateshead have only been demoted the one division. Was it our previous history of administrations that...

I don't have problems with fans of other clubs commenting on here but if they slag us off on every other form of social media I'd say ban them.

Gateshead F.C. sold to Supporters
The supporters have bought it at the 11th hour for 25 stacks...Think it was sold literally before the Club had a meeting in London with the National League
Theres also a possibility of Chris Dunphy coming on board

Spenny have offered eye watering money to 3 Blyth players, and you can bet your bottom dollar that a) we want all 3, b) they won't all get a regular game there, and c) it's more about denying Darlo than improving their squad. I laughed out loud. Spenny signing a player just to deny you lot? Are you...
