Joe Wheatley's headed clearance off the line was indeed quite amazing.

Instead, I suspect you’re just being difficult for the sake of it, which you have a habit of doing.
Ha! Without wanting to get involved in this discussion on either side, this made me laugh.

I hope you had a quiet chuckle to yourself when you wrote that Gramps!

Wish we had an away end like that!
Indeed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all.
Other than not being able to see the goal line of course, a major flaw.
If you don't close your eyes then you should have no problems. Give it a try, it makes games far more interesting.

Yeah, really terrible. A full-page feature on the club in the country's second largest newspaper is just 'terrible', isn't it?

A team from the Western League playing a National league south side. Tavistock are one of the lowest (maybe the lowest, I don't know?) ranked teams left in the competition.

Re: Leamington or Chasetown

I would prefer Chasetown as they are in a lower division and that gives us slightly more chance of being on TV meaning more money. Neither are easy to get to by train! Yeah, nothing really jumps out as the stand-out tie does it? So its not impossible. Maybe Chester or Gateshead matches? I want Chas...

Last call for Mr Burns? Can Holness play in the back 4? Or is it time for one of the youths to step up? AA must be getting tired of having this bad run of injuries and having to make difficult decisions, but that is what he is there for. In AA we trust (& hope!) Holness has already played in the ba...

We cant afford not to have the money from a cup run, a good run would give AA budget to play with. Without that he will have to run with what we have. A must win game really, I would not take the chance by leaving first teamers out unless they are carrying knocks already. We can't afford to get rel...

No, that was Flixton, think it was Northwich 1874? Thommo hid in the dugout when the hail came. Horrible wasn't it? Another time we took our bikes in. Pretty sure Trafford play in Urmston, lots of pubs nearby.

If you are going to sign a right back, sign a right back. Holness is a midfielder who showed he could probably fill in at right back - why sign another? Will he get in to our midfield when Liddle fit for example? If not, then not sure I see the reasoning. One in, one out? A midfielder who can play ...

At our best we are more than capable of winning on Saturday.
At our best we would have beaten BPA, a team that had scored 1 goal and conceded 18.

We weren't - and didn't.

Otherwise he would have said 'all the names'. The names that are in contention have played for Darlington - is obvious enough to most. There is no absolute need to have said "all of the names", although it may have helped. He doesn't write 'the names' . He writes 'names' It's not hard, as you say.....

Dave Penney was obviously a good manager? Hodgson also made us competitive every single year - I think it's unfair to question his ability.
No David Penney was not a good manager. He failed to get us promoted with a massive budget and then proved elsewhere how over-rated he was.
