Re: Wilson Kneeshaw

I think what’s going to be great this season is having a bench full of players who can actually have an impact on the game!

Last season we cried out for a decent bench!

en passant is right. 1958-59 season. Send me your details and I’ll send it on.
Thanks wellingaway, but, on reflection, I think I'll be happy if you pass the photo on to Darlo_CR, who also got it right, instead.
Thank you very much!

If we are to look into the Northern League, Mark Fitzpatrick of Dunston or Michael Sweet would be good picks!

I wouldn't be surprised if we look to youngsters released from the North East academies. AA said he knows pretty much all the Boro youth lads from his time coaching there.

Scott Fenwick's back in the North-east after his time with Chelmesford and looking for a club. He says there's been interest from several non-league clubs up here and he's a much improved player these days.
He'll join Shields.

The Board

A lot of focus has been surrounding Alun recently but I'd just like to say a huge thank you to David Johnson and the rest of the board for all of the hard work they're doing behind the scenes. Considering they all have other commitments throughout the week, they are doing a sterling job and we're lu...

I thought I’d read somewhere (possibly at a fans forum) that AW wasn’t doing the academy as he didn’t have the right qualifications to run on his own, therefore TW did it. Happy to be corrected Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He took his qualifications at the back end of last season so he should...

Reece Styche

He’s been given permission to leave Alfreton, they’ve said that they’re in “deep into concluding negotiations for his fee” and a move looks near.

Do you reckon he could end up back here?

To be fair, some of the young lads from the bigger clubs will cost the same as some loan deals these days.

I can't see any reason to carry on this experiment. To me, he has failed on his own terms, two seasons in a row. He inherited a decent squad - ok understandably he wanted to put his own mark on it, but for most, he made it worse. He's made flop big signings (Ainge & Hughes), squandered a decent bud...

Re: Darlington V Chester

Does Wright already know he’s going at the end of the season? I know he doesn’t look bothered most games but he stood there for the full 90 minutes with his arms crossed looking fed up.

Losing the game 1-0 and he doesn’t change things by using his subs?!
