Re: Public Meeting - 11/12/2017
This for me, we have a lot of fans who attend every game but can't afford the season ticket upfront. It's just another way to get fans on board with more flexible options. We are fan owned and so we should have more fan friendly options :) Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk We did try this a coup...

Re: Poole Town Play Off Issue and Darlo
When the planning was originally submitted in December 2014, we were at step 4, and required a Grade D ground. The application was submitted to provide a Grade C ground, with an eye to extend it to Grade B and A in due course as our progress required. There was also provision in the plans for 500 se...

Re: Fans' survey 2014
Will the results of the survey be made available, or just the conclusions acted on? Yes - the results will be collated and published after the survey ends (we've currently left it open until the end of August). We also anticipate that the results of this survey will drive future, more specific, sur...

Re: Fans' survey 2014
There seems to have been a little bit of an oversight. Unless you put the postcode in an @@# format you can't proceed. That's alright for the majority in DL postcodes but I am L6 and I see on Facebook someone can't put E6. My old M5 one would have been no good either! Apologies - this has been corr...

Re: Ticket Arrangements For Play-Off Semi Final Announced
What is the capacity of HP? As an exile I am bloody anxious that I might not get to the final...assuming we get there...because I cannot get to to NE on Saturday. 2004. Tickets for the final will be available online and through Quaker Retail. Due to the short period of selling, it is unlikely we wi...

The semi final (2nd v 5th and 3rd v 4th) will be played w/c 28th April. Should Darlington finish in 2nd or 3rd, and therefore be at home, our game would be played on the Wednesday night. The final will be held at the home of the higher placed side on Saturday 3rd May. A full announcement regarding a...

Ticket arrangements for BA/Spennymoor for ST holders
Following feedback it has been decided that season ticket holders WILL NOT require a further paper ticket to attend either game.
We will reduce the number of tickets on sale accordingly and assume that you all will attend.

Re: Ticket arranges for the Spenny + Bishop home games
I can't help but feel that putting this obstacle up is going to backfire on the club. Hope I'm wrong but to ask every season ticket holder that does attend to get these paper tickets from the one home game remaining before the Spenny game is a lot to ask of some people. Re: Ticket arranges for the Spenny + Bishop home games
Not sure on that score however we have 100-150 season ticket holders who don't come to games on a regular basis. Hence the reason why the club are asking those season ticket holders who are coming to the game to get a paper ticket. That way we can maximise the amount we make on the day. It’s the me...

Re: Ticket arranges for the Spenny + Bishop home games
Er, what changes have happened that could make the capacity go down? The green guide is ludicrously cautious with capacity assessment, that ground will hold far more than 2,004 even without the new stand. But if it's going to take an expensive architect, then maybe it's not worth it after all. Why ...

Re: Ticket arranges for the Spenny + Bishop home games
Have we had the capacity looked at again? Laura said about a month ago that it was something we were looking into, but nothing else has been said. It's not just as simple as ringing up the council as Heritage Park is governed by the terms of the Green Guide (I understand no other ground at this lev...

Re: Ticket arrangements for Darlo v Spenny
It's not quite financial viability here, and it's not the case that we would lose money on this game on a crowd of sub 500. We did a bunch of price modelling for various prices and for various crowd levels and the results showed that we would need to add between 400-600 on the anticipated gate to ac...

Re: For the 1883 board - Capacity grading
Bump. Sorry Q - a call went out a couple of weeks ago to the council about this - it's the council rather than the ground grading folk which are responsible for safe capacities at sporting grounds (or so I understand). I'll find out what's going on with it (I've been on holiday the last few days) a...

In all seriousness, it would be nice to have some comment from one of the interim board on this. Once we get to board voting time, I'd like to see some clear messages from candidates on this sort of thing. Nobody is getting in for "free" - there are a number of tickets each game given out by the ma...

Laura, this might seem like an insanely stupid question, but being a director at Darlington I presume you're used to being asked stupid questions by fans all the time... Promotion, we have to "apply" to be considered by the 30th November - can you confirm if this has already been done and if not wh...

I returned form that came with my season ticket reminder and cheque for £80 for season subscription back in July but no programme has turned up yet. Can I just add at this point - in support of Hilly's general post and in response to a series of correspondence I've seen - that this club is currently being run by volunteers. And these volunteers are people who have never run a football club before, and who are still finding their feet (mostly, I ...

I think this might explain why I had more programme money than I was expecting last night...
If that's the case, I can assure you that the money did end up in the club's pocket - reckon that it was an innocent mistake.

That was as clear as mud? So what you are saying is that we haven't settled on one stand but are looking at various models? Someone quoted a capacity of 266 before, so there must be a particular one in mind? Sorry - no, we have one supplier, but the configuration of the seats (and pricing) can be f...

Re: This possible new seating stand
The Bishop information quoted is out of date by now. Quakerz is correct - there is a subtle difference between "permanent" and "non-temporary" and "temporary" which mean different things to different bodies (the League, the council etc...). We've left it flexible for the moment, but have the option ...
