Well I have a student ticket & I have not been asked to prove that I am entitled to it either by the previous regime or by the new club. I am sure there are people who have bought student/disabled/pensioner tickets that are not entitled to them.

I would have expected the grass on the pitch to have grown a hell of a lot more than that by August, surely no one will have cut it since May.

Hats off to everyone involved with this. The previous club faced criticism for not getting out there to schools and the community & it's fantastic to see that the new club are on the ball.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising this. A lovely day & a cracking atmosphere. It must have taken a lot of sorting out, but it was well worth it, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I want a gardener to spend a morning or afternoon a week tidying up my garden, is there anyone that recommend someone? I'm not looking for (nor can afford) a landscaper, just want someone who knows his way round a garden & can get it sorted out.

I don't get into town much, but I have just looked on Darlington FC Shop online - am I being a bit thick, but I can't see any clothing on there. I was looking for polo shirts but can't find anything. Can't you order them online now, do I have to come into town?

For those that did get in, they parked anywhere they could get, & there were quite a few people who left the match early for a quick getaway but found that they couldn't because they had cars blocking them in. Definitely needs a bit of thinking about by the club.

The ballot paper does not specify an amount, but the literature that they have sent with it says that it is about the £40,000. They are going to keep the remaining as "working capital" to provide them with the funds to move forward with long term fundraising.
