Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

On the basis of our average attendance I'd suggest 25 people participating on an unofficial online poll is not proportionate of our fan base

Also so far 25 people have voted, which is hardly representative of our total support.
Why isn't it?
I think he means its not a true proportionate representative of the fan base

Re: Grange Road Sign

This is a total none issue. I do wonder what benefit people feel it achieved when they complain about such insignificant matters. I stood alongside a neutral fan on Friday who only attended the match as he was visiting family locally. He spoke very highly of our little ground and on a personal level...

Would anyone seriously want to go back to that soulless monstrosity? Absolutely. Anyone actually read the proposal listed on the council website? Here is a quote which I think should open some posters eye up regarding the popularity of rugby in the town; "The DMP Women’s team is now in the Premiers...

Looking forward to this one, 3rd away game in a row for me. Hopefully get something out of this, but my away record this season isn't the greatest. Spennymoor 2-2 Darlington. Kidderminster 5-2 Darlington. Ashton United 2-2 Darlington. FC United 1-2 Darlington. Bradford PA 2-2 Darlington. Chester 3-...

Since Henshall got all the stick for supposedly costing us the win, I was surprised at just how much possession they had following him giving the ball away before they scored the equaliser. In other words we had plenty of opportunity to put challenges in prior to the goal yet didn't get anywhere ne...

Predictable that this idiot parks in Blackwell. Just pay your fiver to park at Blackwell Meadows and enj...

We need to get rid of the short-termism that is ingrained in the supporters minds. Having a commercial manager who is there to increase revenue streams is not going to have an instant impact. Having an academy that produces saleable assets is not going to have an instant impact. Yes relegation woul...

I'm positive I read that the chief executive receives a salary & why wouldn't he? I certainly wouldn't do the job he does for nothing either. Who said I was against paying him? It's just a statement that there are higher potential costs if he receives an income which I believe he does. Stop being s...

Bars and restaurants? The range of which seems to get better each time i return anyway. The problem with places like this closing is that they can't easily be repurposed for other businesses, so they tend to sit empty. See BHS. It's such a big unit, no small business would want it. Bit big for a cl...
