Re: Hodgy
On a separate note, aren't the Rugby Club doing alright out of all of this? When we inevitably leave they'll have new floodlights, Tin Shed, seated stand all just left to them at no cost. It seems strange being renters but having to pay for a lot of the work to be done - it's lose/lose for us. You ...

Re: They don't think much of our chances
We managed 8 points from 6 games in November and I think a similar return from the 6 games in December would be a decent return. My best guess would be. Southport Away 0 points Banbury Away 1 point Gloucester Away 3 points B Stortford Home 3 points Scarborough Away 0 points Scarborough Home 1 point...

Re: Southport
Statistically our next 3 away matches should generate 1 goal scored by us and one of the matches will be at least a 4-0 defeat. So I'm praying this is called off as we never get anything there even when we are good, and it's most likely to be the 4-0 (or more) defeat. It'll get another week training...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Our starting 11 wasn't good enough to beat either Warrington or Rushall, who are shite, therefore kind of proving the point that more changes were needed. No column in the table for "played well". Can we afford to make any more changes after we've made a pigs-ear of most so far? What a shame we did...

I’m not mentioning any names but the anti Gowling lot are doing my head in. Everything is bad, everything is negative, they never give up, it’s moan moan moan. What do they hope to achieve? Do they reckon that their constant bad vibes are going to help the players in some way ? Yes - we are in a re...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Felix indicated he wanted to leave in the summer and then again on the arrival of Josh Barnes was only on loan and has hardly tore it up at Scarborough (so shouldn't be included on your list) Rivers - that's definitely not one I was told Lees was offered to Blyth. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor,...

Re: Mustoe gone
I don't think many people actually care about the ins-&-out's but it's quite clear that there's been more to this than just a player suffering a short-term injury. Yes, the main thing to it was that he was a 32 year old oddball AA signing and he was just ordinary for us. Nothing more to it than tha...

:) [emoji38] Let me guess - he's not been seen since the Kings Lynn fixture, nor reported on - omitted from all matchday previews and the latest injury update - announced (after being asked) that he has a rib injury at the fans-forum, and now he has left by mutual-consent after both left-sided defen...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Taylor needs to go, he is always letting his team mates down. Thought we played really well, with some great performances. If we play like that for the rest of the season, then we will have a good chance of avoiding the drop. JG has got us playing some pretty decent footie. But we always seem to be...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
With this guy in charge we are going down. Draws at home against 2 absolutely crap teams is simply not good enough. Yes we are keeping the ball better but it’s results that matter and I have not seen enough to believe we would beat half decent teams when we cannot beat some woeful teams at home. Do...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
We're going down guys. We just fucked off a 20 goal a season striker and then play his replacement for 8 minutes today. And for all of the ins and outs in the last few weeks, we started today with just 1 JG signing. Admittedly Lindley is a good player. I'm not interested in hearing how unlucky we we...

Re: The Last 6 Fixtures vs Next 6 Fixtures Comparison
Well, there we go. 6 matches last month (inc 1 cup) 0-2-4 - League form 0-2-3, 2 points from 5 7 matches this month (inc 1 cup) 2-2-3 - League form 2-2-2, 8 points from 6 We got my 8 points minimum but to be honest considering the quality of opposition 12 points should have been achievable. It shoul...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Maybe try to play similar to Tues with a similar team - we created plenty of chances. I'm not sure there's another option. Maybe try placing corners further out from the goal so that the goal keeper can't catch them. Especially after the big guy comes on. It's no good creating plenty of chances onl...

Re: Warrington
I am worried because every game we don't pick up three pts that amazing unbeaten run at the end of the season becomes our only chance of avoiding relegation the only way to stay up. We have been picking up points though. We have 7 in the last 5 games. Nearly 50% of our entire points tally this seas...

Crowd was just over 1,000. Perennial question - are all season tickets included in this? Better results required, not just to stay in the league, but to avoid the financial pressures resulting from lower attendances. It's a bit of a downward spiral. Yes that will include all season ticket holders, ...

AJ was a natural prolific scorer, looked the part in his few games for us, and we bombed him out.

Re: Jacob Hazel
I don’t get the outrage. Yes he was good, particularly last season when arguably we were playing better. Mainly seen as a goal scorer rather than a creative force, I don’t think anyone can argue that. In fact many repeatedly said he performed far better with a big man. Many were talking shite then....

Well, Hazel has gone. Loan_star called it yesterday, no evidence - just what he's been told I'm sure. He also suggested that the move may fall through as he’s needed here. If you throw enough darts… Again, nonsense. Hazel's transfer was lined-up last week but it was delayed due to him being needed ...

I say 2-0 to Darlo; three points, clean sheet and forget all that Chorley stuff. We could also have something else to debate then endless interpretation of various posts. It is impossible for a backline of Griffiths, Sukar, Lees and Hedley to keep a clean sheet. And as we have one unfit striker, th...
