Re: Rugby League

Bad result for Wigan but not unexpected against St Helens. Where is the game against Huddersfield home or away? if your at home then you should win, but if your away, then I fancy Huddersfield to come out on top. Home. we have been there twice and lost both. Still struggle to work out how we lost t...

Re: Rugby League

Certainly a good set of results for KR this weekend. Funny week. We have only won 3 times there in SL yet I was entirely comfortable all week we would get the result. Defensively we are like rabbits caught in car headlights, which is not a shock considering our record this season but I hope a couple...

Really looking forward to go down to Harrogate on Friday evening. I really enjoy seeing us playing higher opposition especially away from home. Is anybody else planning to make the trip?
Think you already know where I will be Friday night Pete.

Re: Rugby League

Ed excluding the magic weekend, how come Wigan and Hull KR play each other 3 times and yet other sides you only seem to play twice. It's a bit unlucky Hull KR having to face Wigan 3 times. The replacement for the 8's. Each side plays either 2 home and 3 away or 3 home and 2 away dependant on league...

Re: Rugby League

You got a penalty when your player had clearly pushed our player and you couldn't breach our defences when you had an extra man. At the moment our defence is superb and it comes as a shock when you managed to score 2 try's. Pete you need to learn the rules mate. The "Push" you refer to and the subs...

Re: Rugby League

As I said, we either win at Wigan or get hammered. There is never an in between. Does not help when the first try (the throw over Shaws head), was so clearly forward, but that would be grasping at straws. Still in our own hands. Win at Leeds next week then our 2 home games v Udders and Wakey and it ...

Re: Rugby League

Ed I thought you said Huddersfield were looking like they could be the one's to get relegated, well on tonight's performance that looks a bit wise of the mark!!! Yes it did. I have seen them play 2 ways, either quite well or very poor. The very poor is far more often, as in the last game they won I...

60 goals in his 120 games...First spell... 3 in 20 on his second stint after Swindon & Watford.... I seem to remember he signed for Swindon the day after he tore them a new one... Powerful Centre forward great in the air... RIP Jimmy Spot on there Chris, I remember that game well against Swindon, h...

Re: Adam Campbell

If you look at our last signing - Jordan Watson - the club mentioned in the article on the official site "after finally receiving clearance from the FA", this was an obvious hint at frustration over how long signings are taking to complete due to waiting for the FA. At the end of the day you can ge...

Re: Rugby League

There is nothing much wrong Pete. Just a number of issues that are stopping me sleeping. I am lucky to get 2 hours a night. The operation on the 8th of July is to scrape my right shoulder joint clean because of arthritis. I had the left 1 done a while ago and that is still "healing" this means I go ...

I presume you'll be going to the game Ed? If I can make it, then I'll PM you and perhaps we could have a pre-match drink, I'll be the one wearing a Wigan top, haha. Not fit enough for night time driving at the moment I am afraid. Radio for me. Maybe will manage game number 3 against them on 9th Aug...

Re: Rugby League

They beat us by a drop goal at our place a few weeks ago in a game we dominated and should have won. We are a far better side now, but they have gone on a win run so confidence will be high especially at home. Side note, we either beat Wigan or get tonked at their place. We really do not need our po...

Re: Rugby League

Been away a while. Yet another week in hospital followed by a few days at my static van where for some reason WiFi has been poor. 3 games since my last comment. 2 good wins against 2 of the top 3 and a close silly loss in London where we actually normally win so a hard 1 to take. Only watched the Wa...

Spyman the reasons I would like to see Manchester United have a fall. They don't give s stuff about clubs at our level even lower league clubs for that matter. They whinged to be given an extra round start in the league cup some years ago using Europe has an excuse coincidentally after being giant ...

Yep a massive game for both sides on Thursday. It's a pity that you can't draw and then would send Leeds down to the bottom, haha. I take it that you won't be going to the game Ed and you'll be just watching on TV? Going down tomorrow to see friends and coming back on Friday. 1 dayers to London are...

Re: Rugby League

Your fears about Salford beating Wakefield were well founded Ed. If I were a Salford fan I would pull my hair out. Week after week they win games they should lose then lose games they should be bankers to win. Easily the most unpredictable side in SL. Hull KR are pretty unpredictable as well, they ...

I'd be very happy if Leeds get relegated and they're form is really poor at the moment.
So would I, but there is more chance of me changing and following Hull or Wigan.
If they finish bottom the RFL will simply increase the number of teams in the league so avoiding the need to relegate them.

Well I'm sure today's result will have lifted your spirits, with a shock 16-14 win over Warrington, well done. Good game and deserved win. Re: Rugby League

Well really enjoyed that game, the Wigan defence was awesome and it was great to see Tony Clubb rumbling in for a try right at the end, in front of a large Wigan support. Puts Leeds in deep trouble near the bottom, which no doubt will please Ed and Rob. Been very down all week. We have had no word ...

I'm working down in Bradford from Thursday and noticed that Wigan are at the Leeds Rhinos on Friday night. Great win for Wigan and London, which throws the relegation fight right open. Sorry I wasn't with you Ed. I saw him on TV a few times for Motherwell this season and he looked decent. While not the tallest he has certainly "filled out" and is a real solid unit now. Staying in the PL shouldn't be an issue, as it looks nailed on that London are the strong favourites to get relegated. To be honest and not disrespectful I am surprised that Tony Smith hasn't gone to a bigger club in Britain or Australia. There could be a vacancy at Wigan in the near future!! The "...
