Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final
Hugely disappointing today. Very easy with hindsight but we needed the extra midfielder today to keep the ball. I really like Sousa but I don’t know if he heard a scout was watching or something today as he wanted to do everything himself. I don’t know why Hudson hasn’t been given more of a chance. ...

Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final
Scheduled 8th May, however as last seasons final is still outstanding it remains likely this seasons final will be delayed. either way it will not affect you Has that been said anywhere official? I’d hope they would try and push it back so fans could attend, although I suspect that’s unlikely given...

Re: Season null and voided
Interesting to see the news this morning stating that the government are targeting the end of July to have all adults vaccinated. Whilst always having to take governmental statements with a pinch of salt, it is fair to say that progress on the vaccine roll out has already included more people than ...

Re: Season null and voided
Right call. Legal action won’t get anywhere. The trophy will continue I guess with step 2 teams on flexi furlough. Onto 21-22 season with fans back.

Re: Kidderminster Harriers 13th Feb
Yes, you can furlough players/management, bring them back off furlough, and then place them on the scheme again. However, I do not believe that players/management are permitted to carry out training sessions whilst on the scheme, so any use of furlough would have to be timed appropriately. This. It...

Fans return
Oliver Dowdon of DCMS said plans maybe revealed for fans return in Mid-Feb. Not that the fans will be back mid-Feb, of course, but there may be a road map revealed.

Re: Kettering Town
To be honest how do we justify playing Saturday but not wanting the league to continue? Anyone. Because we haven’t said we won’t play in the league just that we don’t want to. If there was a league game on Saturday we may well be playing. The league have said there would be ‘action’ for those who d...

So if the clubs vote to carry on the season (bearing in mind the vote is weighted to NL clubs) what happens to those who feel it’s a dereliction of duty at best and illegal at worst to do so?

Re: Team v BPA
Don’t understand the formation tonight. Why go 4-2-3-1? Just put Atkinson in midfield, bring Storey in at CH and not play maguire or O’neill. The two with Reid doesn’t work, he doesn’t have the legs. Hoping for Holness, Hatfield and Wheatley on Sunday. Thought exactly the same when I saw the team s...

Re: Alfreton...
I saw the highlights and the big lad day and the other striker (Reeves I think it was) looked handy. Have to be intelligent but I'm confident we can get all three. The biggest shame is that we can't play the midfield 3 of Wheatley, Hatfield and Holness. I'd go: Minter Mcmahon Watson Laing Storey Wh...

Re: Darlington V Telford
This is incrrdibly frustrating. I also don't get why holness isn't preferred to reid. Bang on. Hatfield, Wheatley and Holness is our best midfield. Maybe Wheatley is injured or unavailable today, I don't know. Reid would not be in my starting line-up. Not today, not next week, not next month. Total...

Laing starts, Hatfield back and no Charman. Saltmer; Hedley, Laing, Storey, Liddle; Reid, Atkinson , Hatfield; Rivers, Campbell, Sousa. Subs: Minter, Holness, McMahon, Hudson, Maguire. We are really going to have to play through the lines with that forward line. Would’ve had Amantchi on the...

Re: Darlo v Boston Match Thread
Nicky Hunt’s welfare is the paramount concern here. For the record I think Boston should be awarded the game 2-0 and the 3 points. Can't argue with that, might have felt different if there was one in it but 2 goals in 4 minutes with 10 men was unlikely. Not sure the league will take into account ho...
