Darlington is well served with all weather pitches currently, we have most senior schools have them and hire them out, plus the council facility at Hundens, my grandson plays on a Sunday morning at both the Hundens and Education Village
Not to say we we couldn't do with more

Do we really want to know every little thing that goes on, is it not better that arrangements are kept private, fans owned club or not we dont need to know every little detail of private agreement

Re: Jim Provett
I've liked TT, however he has not improved never dominates his box, if Jim Provett as his coach could not improve that why have him. M personal feeling is some of our defensive issues stem from Taylor not catching the ball, when a catch is what is needed. Take the Scarborough game their keeper did t...

Re: Echo casting doubt on plans for new ground
My point is access to Skerningham, even if we can convince a landowner to sell land for a commercial development, Skerningham is not assessable for crowds of football supporters wanting to access or leave the site without congestion

Re: Echo casting doubt on plans for new ground
Does anyone on here no Skerningham and the proposed site. I live in Barmpton Lane and have been a season ticket holder at darlington for many years. Skerningham is the most most difficult site you can imagine for our ground. The Stadium and BWM are a dream by comparison We understand the ground will...

Re: Hereford Saturday
Would the Local Plan need to be changed to include the DFC new stadium? Because no stadium is included in the current Plan or the Design Code! The Design Code was a stipulation made by he Government Inspector when he approved the Skerningham development. Not sure how many of you know where Skerningh...

Hundens is the Darlington Council Facility for the general public and Schools outdoor sports. Darlington Harriers have used the facility for years and the track surface is a mess and dangerous and desperately needs repair to allow our up and coming athletes to train and take part in events. You shou...

Re: So Faverdale or Skerningham
If you think access to the stadium would be difficult at Faverdale. the access to Skerningham is even more difficult. We don't know where it is proposed to go so assume North of Haughton Cricket ground ( which is apparently the favorite place) you would need to drive up Bishopton Lane one way in and...

Whats all the fuss about, unfortunately both clubs,as most in this land of ours have our share of supporters who like to go to particularly away games and cause trouble, then blame others for their lack of control. Lets just go to the game, as i will and support my team Darlington surely that's what...

Re: "Biggest FA Cup shock of all time"
I remember the game, unfortunately I could not attend the game as I was at school and they would not allow us to go to the game. It was an afternoon kick off, as we didn't have flood lights. We all sat in the school hall listening to the game on the radio, teachers telling us to sit still and be qui...

I accept we have a lot of possession, but we go nowhere. We are to slow in getting it forward., all our passing is to deliberate and ponderous. As far as set pieces are concerned, we can't defend them and I not able to remember when we last scored from one

As far as I'm aware, Gmail is independent as Google mail, so your service provider is irrelevant.
I'm on Gmail and have changed my service provider from Virgin to BT. with no issue. apart rom BT internet is crap.

Re: Darlo v AFC Telford
We seem to have lost the ability to play football, very poor, Watson is not a full back, we get done every time down the our left side. No pace in defence, we where given to hit and hope, with Maguire chasing lost causes. Two in midfield doesn't work for us, we must have Holness in there. I worry ab...

My problem with English cricket is we play all types of game in the same manner. Test cricket is a specialist element of the game, our players train for it by playing T20 and one day cricket. What is wrong with playing 4-day championship cricket in preparation for test cricket?

Re: Southport Highlights
On the subject of the penalty, it seems to be accepted that if a defender puts a leg out you fall over it. I think it stinks, but it applies both ways. Especially when we have a blatant penalty turned down against Gateshead, for a tackle on Thompson. I have in the past not criticized referees, howev...
