Re: Rushall tickets

Some games are being shown on NLTV, because it is an international weekend.

Re: Rushall tickets

Looking on NLTV website our game at Rushall is not listed as being available to watch, which is disappointing. I would have thought there would be plenty of demand from Darlington supporters to stream this game given how crucial it is. I can see that we could take around 400 fans, especially if it i...

He has been quiet because we have been winning, and he hasn’t been able to indulge himself in criticism of the club. Personally, I hope he we don’t hear anything else from him, if it means we are still doing well 😆

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports

Next week reminds me of our game v Colchester in 89. Not win or bust, but certainly not lose. I say that because Bishops Stortford is one of their games in hand. 89 was roles reversed, as we were on an OK run, but Colchester was on a great run, and we crumbled under the pressure of the occasion. Wi...

Re: We’ve come along way.

Has been an unbelievable turnaround. Hopefully we can win next week and quickly get enough points to guarantee safety. We then need to secure the services of Steve and Terry for the future. If we can do that and finish the season well, we will not only be safe, but we can carry some real momentum in...

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports

For me the MOM was Cedric main he's a really good footballer holding the ball up well, tackling good winning the ball and some off his passes are sublime straight to a forward mostly finding their target.  Really. I thought he was off the pace today, and a bit lazy at times. I th...

What a great player he is, he handled every situation, took numerous hits and IMO should have been MOTM.

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports

It’s a game we would probably have lost a couple of months ago. They are a big physical team in the Alfreton mould, not a great footballing side but horrible to play against. Well done to our lads for sticking at it and grinding out the win, for a massive 3 points.

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports

This game has all the hallmarks of a massive banana skin to me. There is a sense of real expectancy among the fans, moderate opposition who have a couple of our ex players in their squad, and probably a decent crowd. If we can win our next 2 games we will be very close to pulling off the great escap...

Re: Blyth V Darlington

Really enjoyed watching the goals again, and listening to the post match interviews with Terry Mitchell, Matty Cornish and Matty Young. Great to hear that the keeper is enjoying his stint here and is hoping to extend his stay until the end of the season. Well done Stuart Armstrong for asking some pe...

Re: Blyth V Darlington

A great night, fans were excellent, both goals taken well. Players are running on fumes and need the break from 2 games a week. Confidence seemed just a little down after Spenny game as we dropped deep after Cornishes goal and gave what should have been easy passes away. We missed Nelson up front t...

Re: Saturdays flare incident

Some of the supposed fans who turned up and caused trouble on Saturday were not even proper Darlington fans. I remember having a conversation with one of these supposed fans who was off his face on something, asking me, 'How are we doing in the league this year and how many points are we off playof...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington

Derby v Forest, Mansfield v Chesterfield, Newcastle v Sunderland to name a few, all in different divisions but still fierce rivals. Your rivals don’t change because you’re in a different division. So for me it will always be Pools If we get relegated we will have a new local rival, as almost certai...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington

They are not our local rivals. They never have been and never will be. A local rivalry is deep-rooted, historic, cultural, religious, political etc. We share none of that with them despite their desperate efforts to create something. Please don’t pander to them. That is a ridiculous statement. You ...

Tin pot club that aren’t even our local rivals , bless em! That makes them local and ri...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington

I see the club have put out something on the official website regarding the throwing of pyrotechnics on to the pitch. Re: Spennymoor V Darlington

They were celebrating like they had won the league at the end of the match. I guess they will say it is sour grapes, but honestly I just don’t get the animosity towards us. Obviously we would have celebrated a win, because the 3 points would have been massive for us, but it would be the win that was...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington

Anyway, on to the match, I'll snap your hands off for a point here. As long as we can follow up by beating Blyth (who are shite) and Peterborough Sports. 7 points from 3 would set us up very nicely for Rushall away. Same, a point would be a decent outcome and set us up nicely for two winnable home ...

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe

Watched a video by a Scunthorpe fan and couldn't believe the amount of abuse they were giving their players at the end. They really are very unhappy. I think they that is because they are a full time club with a large fan base, and they feel that success at this level is something they have a right...
