Re: They don't think much of our chances

We managed 8 points from 6 games in November and I think a similar return from the 6 games in December would be a decent return. My best guess would be. Southport Away 0 points Banbury Away 1 point Gloucester Away 3 points B Stortford Home 3 points Scarborough Away 0 points Scarborough Home 1 point

Re: Darlington V Rushall

To sum up the current dilemma. AA should have been replaced at the end of last season and has not used the budget well. JG has inherited a difficult situation, but has made mistakes and a lot of supporters don’t have confidence in him to turn things around. We probably can’t afford to replace JG, an...

Re: Darlington V Rushall

I expect Mustoe to be on the bench today, no other reason than we’ve just reminded the club that he’s still available 😀 Still doesn’t exist according to the match preview on official website. If he is injured as Josh indicated, you would expect he would be listed as such. Maybe just an oversight, b...

Re: Darlington V Rushall

My memory from the fans forum last week is that Josh said Mustoe had a rib injury. However, that was at the same meeting at which he said he had never lost a game by more than 2 goals, so whether it is accurate I don’t know.

Nagandu will also be available on Saturday, so hopefully we will have at least one more option from the bench.

Re: Warrington

Pretty much agree with the above. Why on earth did Gowling take Moke off who was having one of his best games for us, instead of Salkeld who was giving the ball away far too much and was poor last night imo.Regarding Tommy, we have a goalkeeping coach and surely it's glaringly obvious he has to star...

Re: Warrington

1st 45mns we played really well, pressed & had a bit of luck when Warrington hit our bar. Defence held a high line very well & we scored a rare Rivers goal to round off an excellent move. 2nd half we had a chance to wrap it up if Moke had shot rather than passing. Gradually Warrington got on top & ...

Re: Warrington

Can’t fault the effort tonight from everyone on the pitch, but we really need to be beating teams as poor as Warrington. On the plus side this League is full of some really average teams and there is still hope we can get out of the trouble we are in. A win on Saturday is really needed, but overall ...

Re: Warrington

I just hope we can not concede in the opening 10 minutes... If we can do that and then sneak a goal I fancy us to win. If we concede early...in fact when was the last time we won in in the league from a losing position? For the record I think it was when we beat Telford 3-1 at home on 4th of Februa...

Re: Warrington

We were expecting one in one out weren't we - as that is what budget allowed for. I expected the loans were meant to be temporary breathing space which may have allowed for more outgoings to free up the budget to bring in others - rather than permanent solutions. As it happens we are basically Asan...

Re: Jacob Hazel

From what I remember when Tom Platt signed from Boston it was said one reason why he left was because they were going to train 3 times a week in Boston. I think Hazel is based around the Bradford area, so presumably he is prepared to put in some extra travelling. He may do well for them, but like ot...

Re: Warrington

Pleased to see some welcome positivity for a change. I don’t care about the score as long as we win, but I do agree these 2 games do feel really important as a barometer of where our season is heading. If we don’t win at least one I think the knives will be well and truly sharpened. Without Nelson ...

Barnes was happy to stay though, and could have been retained. Same with Felix. Sorry - I know it's a minor detail in wider context, but I keep seeing it and saying it by return - Kaine intimated in the summer, and secondly when Josh arrived, that the distance/commute wasn't working for him anymore...

Was anything at all mentioned about the floodlights at this forum? Yes it was. I’ll be delighted with two 1-0 victories.
I'll be happy with two 4-0 victories. Or a 5-0 + 3-0. Or a 6-2 + a 4-2, you get my drift.

1-0 victories would have been OK had we lost 2-0 at Chorley.

But we didn't so they're not.
Absolutely ridiculous argument.

How do you know he was treated in a poor way ? At the forum Josh said that Sukar had lost confidence after the Tamworth game and he had been rested for his own good. Re: Hazel and Sukar

It might be just a matter of finances. DJ indicated at the forum that we were over budget and some players would have to be moved on. Therefore, maybe the only way we could afford to sign Asante was because there is a prospective deal on the table from another club for Hazel.
