It is no wonder this site is

The usage on this site appears to have drastically diminished over recent times, certainly compared to recent years. I am not talking about the out of season drop off that usually happens. I know I used to be on here several times a day reading comments about Darlo & associated topics. I would chip ...

Terry, what a hard bugger he was, allegedly he used to pop into the Waterloo for several pints on his way to Feethams before a game
Just to warm up you understand. Lol

Re: Season null and voided

Hats off to both the National League and the Government for making a right royal pigs ear out of all of this. It's the right thing to do, but let's remember that this will now end up costing the tax payer *more* than if they just came up with some grants... and that's not to say the National League...

Slightly surprised you started a new thread. Positivity about Spennymoor's strong stance elsewhere and all credit to them.
Actually I did not see it posted elsewhere on here.
Sorry I didn't check with you on starting a new thread, obviously I will in future 🙄

Have declared they will not play Telford tomorrow or the rest of the season.

Slightly surprised that the money is not flowing .

Re: League restarts 6 February

Glad Blyth Spartans were just an oversight on the list put out recently. Strength in unity. Of course as others have said. I don't see why football clubs that would potentially be trading at a loss should be made to put into unwanted debt. It's OK though, I had a dream the other night that I had won...

There is a new statement on the Darlo official site. A letter now signed by 14 clubs in our league.
Noticed Blyth Spartans no longer on the list.
Do you think they are hoping for a "Free Loan"
By claiming they could not pay for a loan ?
Or it could just be an omission !

David Johnson : We are in a sad position

As usual a great interview from Ray Simpson with David Johnson to keep us as owners of the club in the picture regarding the 2 week suspension & the chances of the season continuing. Nothing to reveal that we didn't really know but good to hear the clarification from DJ. Again DJ was very frank & op...

Re: Home Kit Vote

I've been busy selling my loft contents in eBay whilst the debate has filled five pages. I think it's quite something that the fans get to vote for the shirt design and I feel an open vote may have been abused. Citeh and Palace looked quite fetching in a sash style shirt and I'm not sure the histor...

Re: Home Kit Vote

Just to make the point that DFCSG membership/Owner numbers are heading towards the 900 number again. That means around 70% of our fan-base on a c1,300 home gate, for example. Just if we're trying to paint the DFCSG membership/Ownership group as a "clique" or having a collective agenda, or - indeed ...

Re: Home Kit Vote

Well the vote will be in soon for the shirt design, personally I prefer the hoops or broken hoops but accept some do not like it, each to there own. I will as usual buy several for my group regardless of whichever wins, as it is a way of helping the club. I have a wardrobe full of Darlo shirts that ...

I agree with some on here but we are never going to please all. I understand the commercial needs of generating income from shirt sales. It is quite an assumption by self appointed voices of the fans that it is just the younger fans that prefer hoops. After over 60 years of following the club I & I...

Thought Adidas were 3 white slashes on black. [/quote] As far as I am aware they have copyright on the 3 stripes. As we would probably be" Grandfathered " in with our 1967/68 design we would most likely win the case but the legal fees would be crippling to even suggest trying. That how these multi m...

Well done Darlo after a long trip. Well done to those of us that chipped in with the travelling expenses despite the recent performances. It payed off. Let's hope for a decent but easier draw in the next round at home. Then at least the more judgemental of us won't have to bother chipping into the t...

£7.99 is very reasonable, I doubt dropping it to £5.99 would increase the numbers to warrant a reduction. Especially as Darlofans Radio is free. In fact I would make it £7.99 minimum with an option to round it up for those that choose to or those that have several fans watching together. Liverpool ...

I was in the Tinshed when the Bobby Baxter "goal" happened, no doubt hanging over the barrier as I did in those days.
