Got to be said, loads of plaudits across the team after a fantastic final run in.
Terry Mitchell has been an absolute superstar, deserves a massive amount of credit for keeping the Darlo up.
His knowledge, the respect the players have for him and his tactical support has been a breath of fresh air.

Just a shame that their next two games are against Rushall and Southport.

Re: Curzon V Darlington
What was the crowd, and how many Darlo fans? Anyone Crowd as 283 - I would say at least half of that was Darlo fans Isn't that pathetic. Why do they bother? They are putting out and subsidising a service that the locals don't want. If the people running the club can do so without massive losses, ar...

Out of interest, does anybody have any idea how many corners there were? There seemed to be loads.

Superb performance from the whole team, be interested to know the attendance. I was in the main stand and was surprised when I watched the footage how few Curzon fans there were. Makes me wonder if quite a few support City too.

Regardless of styles of play we have gone, no more hope left (from me anyway) when you think of the money raised our two previous managers have sent us down, those solely blaming howling are deluded .prem, success in the league below and hopefully come up with a better team than this shower of shit...

If you think really hard Jason, really really hard, I’m sure you’ll be able to work this one out for yourself. It’s common knowledge and Google is littered with proven-examples. It won't be that hard to provide some really solid examples then, it's your suggestion, you clearly want the best for the...

We’ve hired an analyst, full-time. Why not appoint a media manager who has a recent communications background? A sports journalism degree, PR degree, comms degree. Re: What is going on at DFC? Media Manager edition.
Would it be possible for us to view some of these hidden talents that the club is so desperately missing out on? Perhaps any budding sports reporters could provide exclusive content for Darlo Uncovered with a preview of the next home game followed by a report uploaded within 30 minutes of the match ...

Re: Fans Forum 21/07/23
I think a lot of the playing down of the club is a reaction to social media comments. I didn't quite catch it at the end, but on the live feed of the fans forum, before the microphones were switched off, Alun mentions something about social media. It made me wonder if the focus on the realistic posi...

Re: Fylde v Darlo
For me you have to look at the club as a whole and the direction it is travelling in. DJ is such an asset, he is methodical, realistic and nobody's fool. If you look at the steps that he and the rest of the board have taken I am more than comfortable with where we are now with the resources, future ...

Re: Darlo v Kettering
For me the key issue is motivation, at the close of the season AA moved players on who didn't have the drive and desire to play for the club. I question how the players are motivated and encouraged. On paper we have a big improvement from the previous season. We started with some signings that didn'...

:problem: I'm struggling a bit with the team management and don't enjoy knocking AA after his recent illness ... but was it just coincidence that we played better when he was away and have slumped again now he's, thankfully, recovered? Also, his forthright responses after poor showings don't seem t...

Really good level of detail, I couldn’t seem to find the responses in relation to which kit provided has supplied the best quality shirts?
Perhaps we’ll find out when the current agreement runs out.

Re: Darlington V Chester
Got to say the lads never gave up. On the way out I over heard a Chester fan saying it was the best they’ve played so far this season. We managed to deal really well with most of their attacking play. Just didn’t quite have luck on our side this evening. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise, one thing ...

For the last 20 minutes we looked like we have the potential be a real handful. Griffiths, Purver, Charman and Nelson all on the pitch together looked strong. I just think they all need time to get used to each other. Would have liked to see what impact Smith would have had, hopefully he will be ful...

Re: New signings
Can’t fault AA for pulling out the bag three signings this week. This season is going to be a marathon rather than a sprint. Certainly appears like he has shifted out those without the desire and hunger needed, something which he referred to in the interviews at the end of the season and confirmed d...

I’m struggling to get my head around the recruitment process this year, in particular how many players have been recommendations or a friend of a friend. Hopefully all works out for AA, he certainly must be working hard and doesn’t just fritter away the BTB pot.

Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final
As soon as I heard Hodgy putting down their team I was concerned it could comeback and bite him. However, I think during his commentary he raised some really good coaching points. I do wonder how much time AA has had to work on the squad and improve their individual game play. To do this there does ...
