Re: Retained list
For me I'd: Keep: Hedley Lawlor Lees Platt Hatfield Cornish Rivers Salkeld Nelson Main End of loan: Young Windass - had he left already? he wasn't included in the clubs post thanking loan players returning at the conclusion of their loans Barrow Rutledge Release: Taylor - personal opinion, but I th...

Re: Once the dust settles...
Hasn’t the management of the rugby club changed and the new incumbents a bit more open to new developments ?

Re: Once the dust settles...
Hopefully a few things will happen after Chester from the board. 1. Announce SW &TM going forward. 2. Immediately then announce BTB with a realistic but stretching aim. 3. Offer some insight and regret at the mistakes made this last 12 months. 4. Talk up whatever budget we may have as being competi...

Re: Aidan Rutledge
To be fair we rarely put the ball in the right place for half a season either. Now we get the ball there and there’s a player there too. Those two coinciding can lead to goals.

Re: Easter Monday at Warrington Town
Great performance and win, plenty of MotM performances across the team. Created plenty in both halves. The only difference was we took our chances second half Main deserved a goal for his two excellent assists, was unplayable at times, strong enough to drop in but with the pace to challenge them in...

The rest of us are bored with you 😴😴😴 I'm sure everybody else on this board is happy for you to speak for them on their behalf. Clowning virtually killed this club - still might have done - I'm happy that you can just forgive and forget. It’s not a case of forgiving and forgetting. Mistakes have be...

Re: Darlington V Chorley
Are you really saying that photo "proves" the ball is over the line? If you look at the goal-post instead of the grass it does not look anywhere near being behind the post, thus over the line. You really are a scandalous windup merchant. As I am sure you are well aware the position of the post is c...

https://x.com/stretcha75/status/1773742834958418251?s=46&t=2m9CmwiYznyen20mEeKYTA We've been very badly let down by the officials there. We had been more than holding our own and causing them problems. We have every right to feel aggrieved that the officials couldn't come to the correct decision an...

Re: Rushall v Darlington
Just seen the goals from the game. The first two Rushall goals must have been very well placed strikes as Tommy doesn't get close to saving them, but the third goal seems to go straight through him. Those that were there have been clear that the defence didn't perform well but from the look of the ...

Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
Second best idea lots of land and council owned land around it, first choice however would be to go back to the Arena which is a proper Football stadium I know this has been discounted but things change. Don’t shoot me down and don’t want to start an argument on the Arena as it’s boring. I hear tha...

Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
Can we offer the Rugby Club £1mill for BM and take ownership, with the offer they can play there for free for the next 100 years ? Plenty of room for a 3G pitch.

Re: Reff Gareth Thomas
It is tricky … he hardly touched him and he tripped himself up. In the premier it’s a pen and a sending off after an 8 min delay for VAR. At our level it shouldn’t have even been a foul.

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports
I certainly don’t think we’ll be looking to rotate/ rest players in the next few matches. We’re playing the same players every week, they’re in form, they are understand their roles and are continuing get results. No more Tuesday night games to go so we should be through the worst of it in terms of...

Outstanding since he came in (other than the og ) 100% every game. Hopefully we get Watson & Mitchell sorted for next season. Closely followed by Barrow.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:24 pmBarrow
What a great player he is, he handled every situation, took numerous hits and IMO should have been MOTM.

Got a feeling Tommy Taylor’s in. Other than that feels like we go with the same. Unless we stick salkeld up top a rivers comes in. Could do with Lawlor getting some minutes at some point too.
