Re: Flares /pyrotechnics

I remember the day when people threw toilet roll on to the pitch.....would that be allowed? There aren't any football special trains to pinch the toilet rolls off these days and in any event the trains don't use toilet rolls, they put individual sheets in toilet paper holders now Bring back British...

Re: Jack Lambert

They don’t grow on trees unfortunately. AA went back in for Tyrone but that was a no-go. Newcastle had nothing to offer us either Understood but AA has known since the day Tyrone was signed that he'd have to be replaced. It's unfortunate that is sooner than he anticipated but hopefully replacement ...

Hope the lad has brought his shooting boots with him. If AA thinks Jack can do us a job, then he must have some talents.
And there is me thinking we needed a striker to replace O'Neill? In AA we trust.

What if the rugby club are plying an evening fixture? It's possible
This is an amateur rugby club there's no way I don't think their opposition would agree to play on a Friday night.

Re: Home V Gainsborough Trinity in the Trophy

If it's a draw I see there's a replay date but I've just read Colne v Southport will play to a finish. Is this something teams can just decide between them? Interesting. Do you mean a bit like when you played football in the park as a kid and you were losing 36-24 and someone said "next goal wins"?

Finished 0-0. I’d be livid if I was Hereford’s financial backer, all that money wasted on such an average team... Does that mean we were/are average as Well? Difference is, we haven’t spent £750k on our team. So considering our budget, no, we aren’t. If I was looking for an argument I might say so ...

Gray is one of the favourites according to the Echo Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk I really hope AA is not a candidate, but surely it must be at the back of Poolie's minds? Ainge

Interesting article where AA says we are contributing "a bit towards his wage" at Boston. Looks like AA and the Board did a good job in saving us some money before his contract expires. I guess the difference between Ainge and Burn is that one wants to play regularly, and the other appears not to wa...

At the moment, by not saying anything, the inference being taken is that Burn is an unfit, uninterested parasite, stealing a wage doing very little. Perhaps the silence speaks a thousand words. As an owner, perhaps it's not unreasonable to know why one of your most expensive assets is sitting idle ...

We can't afford for them to miss out Saturday. I'd rather they missed out the following league game. Don't understand your logic. I agree - we aren't that Blyth team, the playoffs aren't the be all and end all, we probably will end up midtable, and we definitely shouldn't be resting players in a cup match for the league games. But considering we're 7 points off the playoffs and it's the middle of september, to say the league ...

Massive shame if Heaton has gone. You just don't turn into a bad player overnight. I think St. Mirren was maybe a step to far for him too soon and has knocked his confidence. Maybe he just hasn't recovered yet. Regards your first quote. I have seen him twice this season and he was very poor. None o...

I doubt we pay for youth loans from our larger neighbours, tbh. That said, we have some youth of our own we can give a go. It depends on AA's judgement i think.
