Queuing for a haircut pete hope it was by appointment as that is how hairdressers have been allowed to open, no queues, appointment only. With P.P.E in place. Plenty of queues outside of barber shops down here in York Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Nope no appointments at my barbers. I was fi...

Thanks Ray loved those four pieces on Alan's career, hadn't realised he got 97 goals in 3 years at Bristol City, was in league cup semi final and known in Bristol for his stepover "the Walshy shuffle" and hope we can get another chance to have a chat with him during a home game next season. He could end up at Vicarage Road.
Could also end up at The Abbey, Cambridge
Perhaps either of the St. James Park's may be an option?
Surely is a foregone conclusion he will end up at the Minstermen?

The club ultimately is the fans. They are the constant, and although only footifan still remains from 1883, the baton passes from generation to generation. Re: Next season’s captain

This is becoming tedious and completely off topic. I'm a bit disappointed in you Gramps as you're usually the first to ask for proof and facts and whilst I don't always agree with you I'll admit you have a penchant for intelligent argument. It feels a little like playground name calling. Oh no, wha...

Re: Increasingly unlikely playoffs

Seems a little unclear where the others stand. Altrincham seem to have said they favour playing them... but the money is a significant caveat. I can’t see any real comment from Chester, Gateshead or Brackley yet? Spending this money strikes me as ridiculous... also, surely the players are all on fu...

The last thing we need is another Styche type of character who thinks they are a cut above the rest. The same Reece Styche who saved us from going down? And in fairness, Reece Styche WAS a cut above the rest in that squad, ability-wise. Re: David Johnston's Netcafe

I’m glad we have DJ in charge BTBH nothing really new came out on Friday. Reading between the lines Craig did very well selling the board space which has increased rapidly but compared to previous years when we secured Virgin & Ebac he didn’t have any big ticket to sell as we don’t own our own crow...

Re: David Johnston's Netcafe

That was the basis to start with. I seem to remember the rather more hysterical portion of our fan base throwing their toys out of the pram when it was revealed that John Tempest earned commission from sponsorship deals he brought into the club. But it is the only sensible way to run at the moment....

I agree to an extent Loid Lucan with what you say about DRC. As Rugby and Football normally stop in April they're probably used to having two/three very lean months as regards to Revenue and budget accordingly. I think we have always been fascinated to know what percentage of their income comes from...

Tez has been fantastic, not many play 300 games and score over 50 goals, with 3 promotions. I also think he has gone out at the right time as well, works for both player and club currently. Re: New deal for Donawa, Hatfield, Rivers, Holmes, Hedley, Reid, Storey , Campbell, Laing, Wheatley, Liddle, Watson,Atki

I wonder if Armstrong will feel the same way about Omar if he believes that his desire is to find another club. He has clearly stated that he only wants players who are committed to playing for Darlo. Any suggestion that they are keen on other options might rule them out of the reckoning. It is als...

Last season’s players we’re still waiting on: Laing, Storey, Galbraith, Watson, Liddle, Holness, Atkinson, Campbell, Reid, Wheatley. Could also include Lucas Bell, although he played very little part for the first team. If the bulk of those first 10 senior players sign, we probably only need two or...

I don’t think anybody could begrudge him a move to Spennymoor. At the end of the day he wasn’t first-choice here anymore, and by the sounds of it we offered him reduced terms. The netcafe isn't a regular activity as part of his employment though. He hasnt done one before has he? It would seem his head is elsewhere and he kept banging on about the travelling.
Agree he is very unlikely to to resign. Plus he has deferred his final year at Uni so he doesn't seem entirely committed to that either as Love Island has taken over his life.
