Re: Darlington v Farsley 13/04/24

I admit I was one of those who did not think there was enough time when Steve and Terry took over to save us. As others have said glad to be proved wrong. Fantastic effort from everyone at the club and the fans since they arrived.Looking forward to Chester next Saturday.

Re: Darlington v Farsley 13/04/24

Do Farsley ever bring that many to away games? Anyone No is the simple answer. They struggle to get supporters for home games. I would be surprised if they don't bring a couple of hundred, given they won their last game and the importance of this one. I was reckoning we'd just get over 2k, but give...

A wider split means more relegation or less promotion (per division).

Just stop calling it north call it region 1 and region 2 and it becomes a lot harder to say "they shouldn't be in that division"
Agree. It must still be a nightmare to decide who is placed in which divisions, don't envey them.

⬆️ I was thinking similar - stuff like this happens, it happened to us with Seatgate.
Warrington have similar work to complete as well don't they? Footings were in for some more seats behind the goal the other day but no steel work erected on phase two so far.

A very interesting interview. Not sure whether the club have promoted this on the website yet? I did not understand the difference between a sports therapist and a physio so had to Google it myself. Sounds like Nathan has some great contacts at Teesside University, which could only benefit us.

Ginge If you are doing the same analysis for National league South relegation zone, then you really have got your work cut out! It is almost as interesting as our league with only I think one relegated so far. Keep up the good week work, I always enjoy reading your posts.

Just Sukar and Ngandu out injured according to the preview. SW seemed to indicate a few not fully match fit (thi5nk we can guess who) and also emphasized players need to train well to be considered, maybe implying that some currently aren't. Darlo 2-0 Southport. Southport fans desperately hoping "y...

As a bit of fun who would you give the following awards to.

Player of the season
Best young player of the season (u23)
Best signing
Most improved
Mr consistent
Come on what about "Best Management Team" of the season. There are three entries only so it could be a close call!

Sort of a shame he never got a goodbye game. Assume he must have an offer lined up somewhere. Left by mutual consent so suits both parties. Who is next? I'd say Sukar but if he doesn't have a club lined up or isn't fit to play then he may as well see out the final weeks of his contract. Then I'd ex...

Me personally I would go full strength at Rushall and hopefully get the win which realistically barring a complete capitulation would see us pretty much safe. Then I'd be giving a day off to the likes of Barrow, Main, Cornish in the Chorley game. Are you stupid? The lads are being ran into the grou...

Just noticed that Moke is back from Ashton, obviously speculation about him being sold.
Or we need him back for the run in? Squad really stretched. Yet we still seem to have Windass and that guy whose name I can't even bother to try and spell.

Sadly no Rivers or Liddle. I still think a physio update like we had previously would be helpful. Another massive win. Credit to Steve and Terry they have turned us around massively, 18 points from their 12 games in charge. We had 9 shots in the second half. How many up until Hatfield's goal? 0 or 1 perhaps. There are 6 on the highlights. On target before Hatfield's goal? I don't think so. The point I am making is that the opposition keeper could barely stand up, but Darlo weren't testing him with strikes on target or...

We still need to try more shots from outside the box as Will showed us the way. Particularly when the opposition keeper is playing on one leg. Re: Curzon V Darlington

I'll bet the owners of Curzon Ashton sometimes feel like they're pushing a large boulder uphill in terms of attendances. Last Tuesday's home game with Peterborough Sports attracted just 149 people. Must be a bit demoralising when they compete very well at this level. The ground's excellent (althoug...
