Re: Curzon V Darlington

1-0 up at HT, we have been very good up until our goal, since then we have been pushed back and have gone long ball but seem unable to hold it up!
Also Hatfield harshly booked and will have to be careful in the second half, so far good!!🤞

Re: Curzon V Darlington

will be listening on Darlo fans radio, I might be wrong be isn't Curzon a place/team we generally struggle against, we must get at least a point tonight, 3 would be amazing and would really make us start to believe etc

Just to add would love to see Nella kick on and go on a run of goals now!

Not a fan of any really but I have voted 2 which is the usual and looks like one we have had before!

really don't like 3 or 4 despite it sounding like 3 is popular on here

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24

It's getting very perilous now. I know I sound negative but I'm already half resigned to us going down. I know what you mean. When Armstrong left I felt relatively realistic about things getting turned around, and at that point we seemed to have time on our side but now we're just about out of time...

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24

Yep I was at shields. And yes he was offside often, but Watson has said that the players need to gamble on opportunities so assume Nelson looking at that and assume he is desperate to get that goal, team struggling up front but I think that Main and Nelson will come good, question being just will t...

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24

2-0 game over, final hopes fading for those who still had any…. Plenty of winnable matches left, we need to make sure we don't go 1-0 down in any of them. Tonight is just tragic, sounds like we played well and got nowt again. We have played well but as ever can’t finish, Nelson very poor indeed, I ...

1-0 Boston totally against the run of play, Nelson missed a 1 on 1 (keeper saved it) then Boston score a tap in ffs

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24

Really need the lads to get something tonight, obvious understatement I know but, back to back wins would not only spark some belief but also do wonders for the players confidence, which as we know is a huge thing in football, cmon darlo!!!!

Re: Reset

Yet again I ask, just what do you think we have for anyone to "invest" in? We are what is known as a paper club, ie, the only things we own are a few player's signatures on sheets of paper, some strips and a few balls. How much do you think our players will bring in investment? As far as I am aware...

Hate to say it but we are becoming tin pot in terms of information & communication

Back to the original thread, shields must be bankers on the accas for those who like a bet, hopefully I am wrong but I cant see anything but a SS win in these dark times at DFC

You miss the point totally, the buck always stops at the top no matter what the set up. Sorry for missing the point, maybe you could take over then, is that the point? Successful business man etc? Re: Darlington v Alfreton 10/02/24

I run my own business, if that business isn’t performing well then the buck stops with me as I make the big decisions. Therefore it’s the same for the mess we are in, the buck stops at the top where the major decisions are made. As we are run by a board then the buck stops with them I’m afraid. And...

Who cut the budget? Who let Howling waste money on a crock? I still say if they had given Armstrong the money needed to replace Beck properly we wouldn’t be in this mess. Why give him a two year deal then make his job even harder? I don’t know, You tell me loan star? I’m guessing you are pointing t...

I too share old git's despondency's unless, we can quickly sign a few attacking players, fingers crossed this happens from the BTB and we can start to pick up points soon as we are none existent as an attacking threat. but as others have said plenty of points to play for!
