I’m not mentioning any names but the anti Gowling lot are doing my head in. Everything is bad, everything is negative, they never give up, it’s moan moan moan. What do they hope to achieve? Do they reckon that their constant bad vibes are going to help the players in some way ? Yes - we are in a re...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Our starting 11 wasn't good enough to beat either Warrington or Rushall, who are shite, therefore kind of proving the point that more changes were needed. No column in the table for "played well". Can we afford to make any more changes after we've made a pigs-ear of most so far? What a shame we did...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Fans wanted changes, Josh tried to make changes, some fans kicked off because Josh tried to make changes... Way too many changes. Not really. Only problem is that we're still shite. Yes, really. Firstly, it isn't spoken about enough that Gowling came in and tried to implement a formation (which we ...

Re: Mustoe gone
I don't think many people actually care about the ins-&-out's but it's quite clear that there's been more to this than just a player suffering a short-term injury.

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Fans wanted changes, Josh tried to make changes, some fans kicked off because Josh tried to make changes... I think the reason this has become such a big debating point is this. When JG arrived (I just listened to his first interview again) he mentions things like "I am excited by the squad.....I k...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
I very much doubt it was 8  Obviously you are right and i will be wrong... List your 8? Taylor, Lees, Sukar, Rivers, Nelson, Hazel, Felix, Barnes. Oh, and by the way, that's the least of the players he has sent back, sold or transfer listed to 'freshen up the squad'. There are others that he ...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Felix indicated he wanted to leave in the summer and then again on the arrival of Josh Barnes was only on loan and has hardly tore it up at Scarborough (so shouldn't be included on your list) Rivers - that's definitely not one I was told Lees was offered to Blyth. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor,...

Re: Mustoe gone
 Let me guess - he's not been seen since the Kings Lynn fixture, nor reported on - omitted from all matchday previews and the latest injury update - announced (after being asked) that he has a rib injury at the fans-forum, and now he has left by mutual-consent after both left-sided defenders Bu...

Yeah it’s mental a new manager wanted to move out 2/3 players to enable him to freshen up the squad… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Eight. Re: Darlington V Rushall
To be fair our transfer listing of players was a pretty poor effort. We didn't actually send a circular round other clubs who might be interested. Obviously just dependent on word of mouth. I got the news of Warrington and Scarborough transfer listing players yesterday. I got Chester's last Monday....

Are we forgetting the whole - "I've never lost by more than two goals" statement? And all is not what it seems regarding the Sukar situation either. Excuse us for not accepting things on face-value. I missed most of the fans forum with the live stream issues but I did hear Gowling clarify that he c...

On a separate note, Rushall drew Chester tonight 1-1 - so we are now eight points adrift as things stand.

Re: Injury List
Mustoe is back in full training as of last Thursday, which is why he's not on the list. That be an end to the utterly pointless speculation about him. We constantly moan about club communication on here but when our manager tells us a player is injured and people still don’t believe it, what more a...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
You assume Taylor was put on the transfer list if you like. I am not assuming that. You assume that Taylor was put on the transfer list, then lots of offers came in and we turned them all down if you like. Again, I'm not assuming, nor did I say 'lots of offers came in and we turned them all down'. ...

Er - we tried to sell him and couldn't..... So that's your proof? Re: Darlington V Rushall
They are young players coming from much smaller teams, with no big reputations. They will be on peanuts compared to the majority of the squad. Do they share accommodation, as opposed to travelling? Felix had 0 goals and 0 assists, and didn't want to do the travelling anymore. Barnes scored twice on...

I don't think we were the only team interested in Asante, but we're probably one of the only ones that were desperate enough to throw the cheque-book at a player who requires a 'mini pre-season'. It's a gamble we've taken that most other clubs wouldn't have done - simple. Asante was training with fu...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
For me you’d have Burton in the side all day before Sukur Agreed, I would. But he was always liable to be recalled so why try and shift out the person you would have to rely on should that happen? Sukar AND Lees both had very solid games against Warrington and Rushall. Sent from my iPad using Tapat...
