Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
I sincerely hope they are just that but heard from different parties. Ive not mentioned wage demands - i was fully aware of options on both. Surely with these types of players, you dont wait till the of the season to review that.

Options - these dont mean these will be taken up. Wheatleys fitness was muted as a reason

Hatfield & Wheatley
Think these two have had a fantastic season - probably the best pairing weve had sinced dropping down the leagues. No coincidence i think our up turn in form (past couple of results not included!) has been greatly influenced by these two. Both are out of contract in the summer, and its become a conc...

Re: Darlington v Bradford (Park Avenue)
We miss Wheatley massively. When Elliott and him play together we do well. When they aren't together then we struggle to win the midfield battle. People can play around with all the formations they want. Believe this point is more important. We seem to click with both these guys starting. Their dyn...

Re: Chris Hunter
Ive agreed with most decisions so far and was maybe 50/50 on Portas at the time but without Hunter Brown and Marrs we dont really have RB coverage since Trotman has been injured a fair bit. Collins has played there for us and did OK i disagree. But either way get the feeling Wright wasnt expecting ...

Probably not a great deal of difference but i thought Talbot was abit better. Maybe more chance of signing him at the end of the season also.

Re: Supporter Liaison Poll
Guess its different for different people. For me its easy. The views and atmosphere. Unfortunately not sure what can be done here. For me, and this is just a personal opinion, the tin shed is too far away from the goal, the angle of the seated stand doesnt make it appealing and the view round most o...

If To say we were awful is ridiculous. We played well in large parts of the game, same as we did against York. Im as concerned as anyone about the defensive mistake, but im been mildly encouraged by recent performance. Play at tonights level and we will beat lesser teams But we don't. We always scr...

Not sure why would want to go three at the back. We at our best with 442. Gillies , maybe Thompson and certainly Wearmouth wouldnt suit that formation

Re: One for the crowd stattos
Even then i think the figure is inflated as you are using the return to Darlington game with 3000. Without that game looking at 1750 odd average which i think is more a true reflection of where we are. See my point above. The last two games would have had much bigger attendances if our bubble hadn'...

Issues at the back
Quite suprised in all honesty with the reaction by some to the new signings. Asked by a mate recently, where would i strengthen i said probably like to have a goalkeeper and striker. Cant deny defensive record isnt great but we play with two out and out wingers and a ball playing midfield in Turnbul...

Falkingham and Turnbull
Liked the look of Falkingham and was looking forward to seeing him and Turnbull playing together but even though its early days doesnt appear it gets the best of out him. Noticed Falkingham prefers to sit in front on back four but when he starts along side Turnbull, he takes the move advanced roll. ...

Theres no doubt there was be some new faces once we are back. What happens if well supported clubs like Halifax want to bring 1000 through? Presume some may be made all ticket but do you have to give away sides certain percentage in league games as you do in cups?

Hope those stands are crowded round the correct goal for the second half! It's almost been worth a goal in itself at HP, playing down the hill to the Tin Shed Very important point. How many times have we been down or 0-0 at half time and really turn the screw kicking towards that end. Must really m...

Having learnt today what Hardy cost then doesn't surprise me. We obviously aren't fussed we have a deficit and continuing to blow money on transfer fees at this level. Then it will be up to the fans to plug the hole. Crazy The club have said the transfer was cost neutral. Who would you rather belie...

A winter break would make no difference, when do you do it ? Only 3 or 4 years back November was wiped out because of snow! So then what ? We cancel January as well? Financially we are better off and it's a massive tradition a time for mates to get together, old fans , lapsed fans. Boxing Day is a ...

We would then have to reduce the wage budget since we would lose out on 8 games income The wage budget would obviously be reduced - the players wouldn't be working as much! Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most of the players contracted? They don't receive money on a match basis, rather a steady...
