Re: Paul Futcher and Bob Cass
Bob Cass was my uncle. Many thanks for all of the messages of support for his family, he died after a long battle against cancer. He was always a Darlo supporter, I remember him organising a benefit game at Feethams in the early 1980's to raise some money for us (Bob Cass XI v Malcolm McDonald XI ?)...

Re: A second bar
Look, I'm really sorry but I CAN see the bigger picture. I'm not Alan Sugar like you are but I DO GENUINELY understand about sponsors etc. If they pay to use the bar and other facilities then Darlington get their money. We can then use this to move on. I get it, honestly. I liked using the bar last ...

Re: A second bar
What are you talking about? All I am saying is that I am disappointed that I cant use the bar. Of course I can see the bigger picture and if sponsorship speeds up a move back home to a ground of our own, then obviously that would be brilliant. I am looking forward to seeing a packed out bar at half ...

Re: A second bar
I'm not a victim and I had thought of using the marquee-thanks for the advice by the way. I simply asked why sponsors needed the whole bar. How many are we expecting, a few hundred per match maybe? I liked using the bar and am disappointed that I wont be able to use it. I am now looking forward to a...

Re: A second bar
Not wishing to sound like a moaning Nazi, God forbid that you are allowed to express an opinion or anything but I used to like having a pint at half time in the bar. It was busy but not so busy that you couldn't get served. Now the only people allowed in at half time are sponsors etc?? How many spon...

We should bury any trophies we win at Feethams.
Dig them up when we return to Darlington.

Re: Extension granted
Something else that needs to be considered is the precedent that this sets for next season. There can be no real pressure for any team to complete their games by the dates specified. Why bother trying to cram games in at the end of the season when you could just rearrange them for two or three weeks...

Fair enough but we have had to cram our games in to finish by 6 May.
4 games in a week etc.
These could have been spaced out but we weren't allowed.
(Apologies if any of this is wrong)

On the contary, 'burying ones head in the sand' implies refusing to acknowledge an unpleasant situation hoping it will go away. No unpleasant situations as far as I can see after 17 straight victories. Well, the unpleasant situation I can see, is that we can now be caught by Spennymoor, who have be...
