Will be interesting to hear official reason.

Perhaps he missed all his financial targets ?

Timing seems odd

Re: Harrogate Match

What I am saying is that the setup at this moment is fantastic, the team is playing for a manager that they trust and vice versa, the commercial side is also doing a great job with confidence building around Darlington FC ,which was all but lost not so long ago, I believe that is down to A)having a...

Tessa, why ??? ,there is no reasons for anyone to stress out about this other than those if any have something to hide ,stop stressing man leave it to the police and board .I said before and will say again they are professional people in which we should lay our trust. Plus guessing is jus...

Re: Club Statement

Nobody,..... least of all the fans are served by protracted silence.

My guess is that the clubs cannot agree a joint statement.

A short concise statement confirming what has been put in train, without prejudice is surely warranted

For transparency i hope DFC & Spennymoor Town place as much information as allowable into the public domain sooner rather than later. Re: Club Statement

Was it wise for DJ to become involved ? Whilst his efforts were appreciated and valuable it was essentially a Spennymoor problem and for them to resolve. They employ a Safety Officer who they believe is qualified and competent (given the on the day actions the second might be questionable) As i unde...

Final point: Why if there was a potential crowd disturbance problem did the safety officer or police not call a halt to alcohol sales ....Odd that, given the amount of public disorder events are linked to alcohol

Re: Spennymoor Away

No concrete apparently and not even secure at the corner as it has a gate on. Real shoddy job and wobbly before the day by all accounts. https://i.ibb.co/0KB6J6t/20200102-161638893-i-OS2.png The fencing that collapsed is perimeter fencing , not crush barrier restraints. Re: Team of the decade

I stopped going in 2012 so I haven't seen anything in the pub leagues, so take your pick. I would hardly class our matches this season as "pub league", anything but. There are many others like you who stopped going to watch us after demotion to Northern League, and others who would not go to the Ar...

Hopefully Craig Morley will be pushing some hard terms for the one off advertisers who generally want to be seen as supporters once TV involved.

Re: Walsall V Darlington FA Cup First Round Proper

On a technical note, should we be fortunate to be chosen for TV coverage of the replay, where would the BBC actually film from. My guess is the balcony, which surely would affect hospitality, or would they perhaps erect a scaffold presumably along the seated 66 side.? On the game, what a performance...

Re: TW - Learning His Trade

The stats don't really look good for Wright no matter how you cut them...has he ever had a third season somewhere though? It probably is blind faith, because there isn't really a logical reason but I'm kind of happy to stick with him and see what happens. I don't actually think he would take us dow...

Positive move by club.

Could even suggest Tommy Wright staying and making sound plans for next season.

Spennymoor: Should they gain promotion, then the question of sustainability can be answered once and for all. Could just break them.

I recently met a Stockport fan in Malta, he seemed to think despite all their resources promotion might be a step to far right now.

"I don’t think think I’ve seen such an inept performance by an official for some time. That goes for decisions given both ways as well. Re: Post AGM update.

The only additonal thing i’d be tempted to do would be to go out to all of the owners i.e. the 1000 DFSCG members and ask them all to donate a one off £20. Ultimately if they want to own their club then they need to be prepared to cover a shortfall that a single owner would have to. These people mus...

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM

It has become increasingly obvious to me that the defence has little or no confidence in Maddison. His positioning is at best suspect, organising a solid wall, which he then seems to hide behind is clearly a skill as yet un mastered. Worst of all his reaction time is really not that good. During the...

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM

I am going to be generous and call it a noble retreat. You really expect people to spring to your defence ? You continually put out veiled and open insults time and again, simply because people have a different opinion, and you expect sympathy when things get tough. I will not forget the pm you sent...

Well, perhaps Tezza can clarify what he meant. If he was joking about mental health issues I agree it's not funny and it's unnecessary.
