Re: Once the dust settles...
I'd like the club to commit that all the btb will go exclusively to building a competitive playing budget. Last week I spoke to a town planner from Darlington BC. He is well aware of the club needing a new ground, but understandibly he wouldn't elaborate on what is happening. But I take it that neg...

Re: Nathan Liddle- Physio update
A very interesting interview. Not sure whether the club have promoted this on the website yet? I did not understand the difference between a sports therapist and a physio so had to Google it myself. Sounds like Nathan has some great contacts at Teesside University, which could only benefit us. Ray ...

Re: Darlington V Chorley
Hindsight? Surely he should've gone left if he was using the 'diagonal system' as his AR would've picked anything up on the right hand side?
So you agree it was awful refereeing full stop?

Re: 2022/23 FINANCIAL RESULTS
What surprised me most was the staffing costs of £185k, on top of the £400k playing budget... would be interesting to see the breakdown of that. Manager - £45k Assitant - £30k Physio - £25k Kit man - £10k Fitness coach - £15k GK coach - £15k Academy coach - £15k Secretary - £10k Even with those est...

Someone who doesn't get a mention on here... we might not be paying him much as part of the loan deal but it soon will add up to being a disastrous signing!eddie-rowles wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 1:05 pmSee if you can find Windass in that bag aswell another one who has gone AWOL for several months

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
Maybe because we don’t want to tell Banbury too No one expects SW to come out and say Scott Barrow will definitely be starting. Something along the lines of, "Barrow and Lawlor will have late fitness tests, Asante is back in full training but won't be considered for Saturday". If it's good enough f...

Rumours are just that i don't think at the moment this one has legs.its front men that are required goals scored are negligent it has to improve for any chance of saving our season. I think this one does have legs… Personally think it’s much needed as well. Could save us a handful of points which c...

If the rumours are true about Asante being contracted for next season, on his wages, then some serious questions need asking I’m afraid. I don't think many people actually care about the ins-&-out's but it's quite clear that there's been more to this than just a player suffering a short-term injury. Yes, the main thing to it was that he was a 32 year old oddball AA signing and he was just ordinary for us. Nothing more to it than tha...

Felix indicated he wanted to leave in the summer and then again on the arrival of Josh Barnes was only on loan and has hardly tore it up at Scarborough (so shouldn't be included on your list) Rivers - that's definitely not one I was told Lees was offered to Blyth. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor, ...

Re: The Squad Now
As an example, if your manager has instructed you to press very high against Chorley, when you are 3-0 down at half-time, away from home, then that is a recipe for absolute carnage. They can’t drop in to two low blocks, as that would be going against manager’s instruction. The 8-0 was 70% on Gowlin...
