Re: Solihull Moors Away - FA Trophy 1st Rnd

Tim Flowers obviously had a pretty illustrious playing career, but I think I'll always mainly associate him with number 2: https://youtu.be/VIAUTOFUNn8

Hopefully we'll have a similar slice of luck tomorrow.

Re: General Election 2019

Good riddance to Chapman, she was just so weak, she has paid the price for not respecting the Brexit vote of her constituents & sucking up to Corbyn I'm so over Brexit at the moment, so that wasn't an issue for me. Peter Gibson's starting with a clean slate as far as I'm concerned, but I do think J...

Re: General Election 2019

I’ll still be depressed about the number of people who voted for Corbyn. Agreed. It was always going to be a little bit depressing whatever the result - I can't remember there ever being a pair of candidates in my lifetime less fit to lead the country than Boris and Jezza. P.S. I realise I'm probab...

Hmm pretty certain that the glazers are referred to has Manchester United's American owners just has Ellis short at Sunderland and randy Lerner at Aston villa once over so again as I originally stated I fail to understand your grievance. All I stated was a fact I did not insult the fact he was Asia...

Re: Leamington (A)

Well, if Styche is beyond our means, then I guess the below equation is the only conceivable solution: (We need a target man who knows where the back of the net is + West Auckland owe us some kind of goodwill gesture after those infamous price hike shenanigans) x Arena dog-walking nostalgia = Paul C...

Re: Leamington (A)

It's such a shame that Ainge is no longer the striker we hoped we were getting - that pre-injury version would've been ideal right now.

Take a bow, Michael Smith

Hopefully Moors will be done with the cups now for the season after that and want to get out of the Trophy as soon as possible.

Re: Darlington V Telford

I can't really comment on any potential offside for the second goal, but it should've been moot anyway as I was right opposite the free kick and the ball was clearly rolling when it was taken. Everyone in the vicinity could see it apart from two people apparently  I think the footage will sur...

I'm not an advocate of socialism, but when has any political/economic system or theory ever worked 100%? There are always winners and losers unfortunately.

I don't get it.

Were those Napoli fans planning on playing a couple of rounds of extreme golf in County Durham today or something?

How long does it take roughly to lay the covers?
Depending on the numbers really, I've been down plenty of times and we've had it covered pretty quickly.
Cheers, Andy

Ted Forster has been making the same point over and over again on the Tin Shed. Could it be that EdJohns is his latest alias? You might very well think that, I couldn’t possibly comment.... If you look over on the Rugby League thread, Pete gives the game away. Ted would know all about funding footb...

Re: BT Sport coverage Darlo vs. Walsall

One of the guys near me was trying to feed Marco a couple of lines about BTB as we were fortunate enough to be stood right by where he and Danny Cowley were doing their pieces to camera. I don't know whether that was covered or not as it was hard to pick up much of what they were saying, but you cou...

Even if you don't have Amar in your XI, surely you've got to have his brother in as part of a back three? That guy's plenty good enough as third-choice centre back.

The club could've raised prices, but any potential extra profit would surely have been at least partially offset by the cost of the massive cup of cold sick they would've had to shell out for at the same time.

We're also 1 forward down with Holmes, but I don't know what sort of forward he is as I haven't seen him play.
'Spaghetti Legs' was sat on the bench on Saturday, I noticed.

I think he's more of a wide forward/winger than a number 9 or 10, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, Thommo in for 'Bob' is the only change I'd maybe make, with Campbell possibly moving inside to the number ten role. I wouldn't go tinkering with the formation.

Are League Two players taller than NLN ones? That sounds a bit made-up to me!

It’s not often we get to talk about a cup run so I’ll allow my imagination to run wild. Get a bye tomorrow, 2nd round a lower league team at home then away at Man Utd in the 3rd round and a great financial reward 😁

I'm not going to criticise the ref too much, but that decision to penalise Jordan Watson for that superb sliding challenge near our dugout in the second half was a defeat for football.

Potters Bar v Barnet it is then on the BBC, with York v Stockport on BT Sport.

The glamour of Tamworth v Darlo was obviously too much for either of them to handle 8-)
