Re: Pre season

PSV? That would be a bit of a coup, even if it was just their U23s.

I've always thought it would be pretty cool if we hosted some sort of poor man's Emirates Cup involving us, 1. FC Mülheim-Styrum and Amiens SC (especially now they're in Ligue 1), but I doubt it'll ever happen

He sounds like Gareth from the Office explaining why he disagrees with homosexuals in the army. I'm surprised no one's said anything about the Keenan-esque reference to Dino Maamria as being "coloured" yet, which would be wrong on so many levels even if it was still 1975. I had initially been think...

Re: Favourite game + season grading

I heard a Stoke fan on the radio the other day summing up their season with a sound like that deflating noise trapped wind sometimes makes and I thought that kind of summed up ours too. At least we've scored the odd penalty though, so there's always someone worse off.

E - must do better next season.

I'd recommend Deutschland 86 (and the first series Deutschland 83) if you're not already watching it. I'll be bereft when it finishes in a few weeks.

It would be interesting to know how highly Barnsley rate him (Smith). They already have the best defence in League One and you'd think Stendel might want to strengthen it further if they go up - would we be able to sign him permanently if he ends up being released? :?
