Re: Democracy under threat.

So, today we have the Speaker directly challenged as to his impartiality based on his ruling re' the government having a "rerun of Saturday" His response? .........To turn it into smirk-fest. Shame on the entire house. The Speaker who was warmly congratulated by the same complainers in March 2019 w...

Every chance it could be on the Sunday too, if the BBC are still doing their FA Cup Final Score programme that day.
Would suit me! Save me bailing out of a commitment in Newcastle on the saturday night

Re: Democracy under threat.

My post was in response to someone who thought the EU sets standards lower than the UK, which is plainly wrong - and for clarity I’ll repeat they are baseline minimum standards whereby any EU country is able to exceed them But the minimum standards the EU set ARE LOWER than what we do already!! I think the installation of the plastic pitch has affected the view of the goal lines when stood behind the goal. The picture below was taken at the cup match against Hereford and it looks like the pitch is a fair bit lower than the one at the top of the thread which was taken when it was a grass p...

Completely different player to Turnbull though. Hatfield is a genuine box to box player, the like of we’ve not seen for some time.
More of Leon Scott than a Phil Turnbull.

I'd sooner keep all that left wing / right wing politics shite out of football.
If you want to join a group like that then I'm sure theres more appropriate places you will find them.

If you don't close your eyes then you should have no problems. Give it a try, it makes games far more interesting. Haha very amusing. Wish we had an away end like that!
Indeed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all.
Other than not being able to see the goal line of course, a major flaw.

Awful away end where you cant even see the near touchline as you have to keep the gangway clear.
If we are allowed to stand down the side then thats where I'll probably be so I can see it all!

Ainge isn't to blame for the contract he was given last year. At least he has had the decency to move on and play football elsewhere unlike another person who refused to go elsewhere even though they were matching his wages.
He played ok today, nothing flash. I don't see the need to slag him off.

Thommo on the long injury list.
What's the story there? In his interview after the Alfreton (?) game I'm sure Thommo said it was just cramp. Anyone know what the problem is as couldn't see anything on official site about it.

As I have pointed out on the bunker, their own players did some goading of the away fans when they scored at the Rink End in their televised game the other week and one of the black players was cupping his ear to them too. Did Loughlin complain about that? Probably not.
