Re: Best opponents faced this season

Biggest opponents have been in the main the match officials. Some really poor referees and assistants officiated this season at BM. Brackley played really well but generally, most of the teams were only middling and any team on their day could beat any other in the league (including us!). Any team ...

Lack of intelligence and respect?? Coming from you? Oooh me ribs!!!
And you can do one if you think I’m going to PM you where you can start being abusive in private so you can make people think your imaginary morals haven’t slipped.
You’ve tried that trick before and it ain’t going to work again.

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

For the last time, I did not mention play offs, your post did not mention play offs, mister e who you quoted didn’t mention play offs. My point was any manager will have to use loans was made in regards to your point about squad rebuilding every close season so that will happen no matter what. You b...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

And if I fail to reach targets, then I can expect to lose my job. TW has massively failed to reach his target this season. He's also failed in elements of his job, like getting players to turn up for training. Except we're about to lose half our team because they're loanees. So another rebuild in t...

Stupid and dumb? Maybe in your view. Plenty of people think you are a cock with your constant argumentative and patronising posts. I'm sure they do and that's absolutely fine by me. I notice you haven't pointed out where I said you were commenting about the play-offs. Dodging my question altogether...

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

I wouldn’t touch Armstrong with a barge pole. Last thing we need is a manager who whinges about budgets. Surely Blyths budget for this season was less than ours in the first place? So assuming they cut their budget next season like us we’ll still have more than them. Also if it was him there would ...

I'm sure there's a direct correlation between those that incessantly moan about Blackwell and those who think moving back into the white elephant is a good idea. We've worked with, and improved Blackwell since we've been there, and it's a work in progress. Yes, I think the rugby club have been pett...

You obviously don’t come on here often then, I said ages ago I thought Wright’s time was up. The difference is with me is that if he stays he will still have my support despite the fact he has plenty of faults that seem to keep popping up. Mind you if we win our last two games we end up on the same...

I haven't said anything about challenging for the play offs next season, all I have said is that the club will be looking for long term loans next season rather than relying on permanent signings all the time. Crikey, this is like pulling teeth. I'll break it down because you're clearly struggling....

How this debate reminds me very much of the Brexit omnishambles: 1 It clearly splits the fanbase; 2 People keep wanting another vote on it; 3 Intelligence and reason seem primarily loaded on one side of the argument; 4 Robbo and I couldn't agree less. How this differs very much from the Brexit deba...

I don't like BM either, I'd prefer to be back at HP. It doesn't feel like a football ground, it feels like a rugby ground, where they play football.
Thats because it is a rugby ground where they play football.
And we know what would happen if we went back to HP.

I think everyone understands that Kit wasn’t playing due to not training. What I don’t understand though is, why sign him in the first place? It’s a nay from me, in the 18 months he’s been in charge we’ve been mostly awful, we had a mini run that saved him last year and we’ve been lucky that there’s been 3 worse teams than us this year. His recruitment has been poor and his man management skills are lacking proved by players not turning ...

Yes, we need consistency but currently there is no method or semblance of attacking play which is what we need to get people to come & watch us. Only 1311 to see us play BPA who could be promoted, on a sunny bank holiday really says it all for this season. MOTM was a loanee (Turner, GK who had kept...

Josh gillies is not even a regular starter for south shields in the division below. Would you be happy with Jason Ainsley as manager? Someone who has a virtual blank cheque at the start of the season and can get new players in to create even more competition, yet has proven that even that sort of set up does not guarantee anything? For me the biggest issue with Wright is that he f...

A manager is not judged on isolated matches. The fact that a side can win and play well occasionally does not mean that Tommy "has proven he can do it but just needs to find consistency". It shows that Tommy can't put together a side that is consistent, that can gets results and move up the table. ...

Before the game AW still stays with his tired CB warmup.
