Vote Labour or you will forever have a Tory government.
Page 48 of their manifesto spells it out.
Vote labour and they will bankrupt the country, yet again, and quicker than ever before.
And the tories will get back in AGAIN and we will have austerity AGAIN and they'll get the blame AGAIN!

Re: Darlington v Chester

The only assets we have down there are the stands which I guess we will have to maintain. Its up to the rugby club to ensure everything else is up to standard and in full working order. Plus the floodlights were in place long before we ever turned up. They may have been upgraded but they belong to t...

Re: General Election 2019

The Lib Dems aren’t going to win seats here so it’s almost pointless them sending their leadership. But it’s very surprising Labour wouldn’t. No wonder people feel disconnected, as if the Labour Party doesn’t represent them. There’s three tight marginals in the North East: Darlington, Bishop and St...

Re: Food Bank Collection on Saturday 30th November

This is a regular occurrence where the football club collect for food banks. I've never seen a thread about them descend into a political rant in to the rights and wrongs of food banks. It looks to me like a case of people who dont like the current government to try and make political points during ...

Re: Leamington (A)

Looking at the goals yesterday, the first one was Campbells fault, the second one the whole team switched off and we were caught out, and the third one was due to a dreadful kick by Connell. Laing wasn't personally responsible for any of the three goals conceded. I think people are too quick to jump...

Be careful what you wish for. You won't realise what he contributes until he isn't there! How often was it said that Leon Scott should be dropped? How often did he end up back in the team? We thought we wouldn't miss Turbull as "his legs had gone" according to some, same with Brown, yet they were ex...

Or just possibly he has to have bodies on the bench but does not want to use them as he knows they are not ready. Much as we did a lot last season in fact. He has other bodies he could be using. One is a striker the same age as O'Neill who wasn't already out on loan but he had a stinker in his last...

3 weekends now that O'Neill has been kicking his heels. He would have benefited more staying at Darlo for the duration of the agreed loan at least.

It was people with agendas that helped cause our downfall at the arena. However Mowden seem to be swimming against the tide too as their m...

No. He doesn't. He brings creativity though. You could argue, in games we are more fancied to win, that you withdraw one of the three central midfielders (Hatfield, Holness and Wheatley) for a more attacking / creative option. That could be Kneeshaw. Not sure I have an answer for clinical finishing...

Despite playing all that time against ten men I don't have any complaints after that. We came so close and must have had 80% of the possession but it just wouldn't go in. You also have to give Hereford credit for a really committed, battling, backs-to-the wall performance. All we needed was a bit m...

Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

Which is why I said we should look at another alternative should we not secure Connell permanently or back on loan. Elliott isn’t a bad goalkeeper, he’s average and was doing average prior to Connell coming in. Is he that bad that we need to rush out and replace him when Connell will be available f...

Depends if you’re happy with 13th/14th place or not. We all want the club to finish as high as possible but we also have to be sensible with what we spend money on too. Elliott is not a bad keeper but Connell is better on what we have seen. However the deal has to be right for the club and we cant ...

Pretending you're on the fence about something when you've already made your mind up is dishonest... not that difficult.

Quizzical look. Do you have to vote for a "main party"?
Unfortunately until they bring in PR then a vote for any of the main 2 (or 3 at a push) is a waste of a vote in the majority of constituencies.
Both main parties wouldnt go for PR anyway so the chance of that changing anytime soon is nil.
