Re: David Johnson : We are in a sad position
The Chinese government changed the terms for bailing out NLN and NLS football clubs and the premise for beginning the season did they? I don't know what is more embarrassing, the post itself, or those lining up to agree for it. I suppose it's really rather easy blaming Jonny Foreigner than lo...

Re: David Johnson : We are in a sad position
Some of our fans would do well to remember exactly who is putting us in this position the next time they come to vote. And how exactly would we go about voting down the Chinese government? In hindsight, it begs the question of whether or not it is appropriate for public money to be used to finance ...

Re: Season paused
During which players will still need to be paid and cannot be furloughed. The can is being kicked down the road. Why can’t the players be furloughed? Can you furlough for 2 weeks then restart? We won't be able to train or anything if the season does restart. Also, if we carry on with the trophy the...

Pull the season. Its the only sensible option if there are no grants.

Re: Home Kit Vote
The alternatives are we do a fan vote on "which supplier?" and then "which four from these 20 templates do you want?" An alternative to this suggestion is to say something like the following :- If we go with Joma your replica top will cost £40 but if we go with Adidas for example it will be £60 for...

Re: Home Kit Vote
In fairness I was going off the most recently available information and acknowledged it wasn’t up-to-date. Lo was just plain wrong. But in terms of fans not attending, I don’t know how much it would impact. You could argue fans would be more likely to buy kits, to help the club out financially and ...

Lol. Totally wrong, as confirmed by a board member. You know that thing about thinking things through before you type, you never learn. As was your claim that this seasons sales outstripped last seasons sales. As confirmed by a board member. However the fact that we aren't allowed to attend games c...

Re: Home Kit Vote
"handful of supporters at the top" by that assume you mean those who were democratically voted for by the owners of the club? As Divas said there are opportunities to initiate change if so desired. The ones that give their time freely for the benefit of the club. Its like when Joma were announced t...

Re: Home Kit Vote
As far as I am aware they have copyright on the 3 stripes. As we would probably be" Grandfathered " in with our 1967/68 design we would most likely win the case but the legal fees would be crippling to even suggest trying. That how these multi million £ companies run rough shod over small entities....

Same kit for me, simple but stylish. I would love a return to that kit style and manufacturer.
Out of the 4 we have been given the sash one is nice and I'd be happy with that, with white shorts and socks.

Re: Farsley coverage
I always find it interesting how much better a player supposedly becomes when they’re not being selected in a losing team And how views of other players change too, its not so long since Charman was the next big thing going to earn us a big transfer fee. Now hes not good enough. Same with Tyrone, p...

Re: Farsley coverage
Difference is he would be playing in his strongest position as a defensive midfielder not a central defender. Is that his best position? It’s certainly not been seen in a darlo shirt as yet When he was playing in the football league he was used at CB and RB for Carlisle I'm sure AA said he was goin...

*more waffle* And what’s one typo compared to you thinking a red card equates to breaking the law? You’re a desperate, thick, little snowflake and it’s funny watching you get so rattled. I don't think its a case of the vaccines and number of cases, its more likely to be pulled due to clubs being expected to take loans to finish the season and not grants as they were promised.Yarblockos wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:24 pmCases are starting to come down and vaccinations are ramping up, the season isn't going to be cancelled.

Re: Farsley coverage
One problem is the discovery of Sousa, yes the lad can be brilliant at times but it causes problems with having a formation that we know works with the players we had already. We need 3 in the middle and drop one of either Sousa, Rivers or Campbell.

Doesn't matter how good the strikers are, if they don't get the service in the right areas then we will never be a goal threat.Yarblockos wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:43 pmOur delivery of the ball into the box was absolutey appalling. No wonder we aren't a threat.

Re: Southport away postponed
I think something which is illegal, immoral and authoritarian is a bit more than “a downside”. Some ideas are worse than others, and forcing players to remain at a club against their will, while restricting their labour is about as reprehensible as you can get in my view. I want to see you explain ...

Re: Southport away postponed
You would also get some players with bigger contracts lined up refusing to play for their current club, which would also cause huge problems. I think the best decision was made at the time. This season is a bit different and there is no obvious solution to the problem. It is too easy to say that we...

Re: Southport away postponed
Extending the season and banning transfers would have seen clubs go under, players lose their jobs and face financial ruin. And at the time, there was no idea when a restart would have been possible. Not ideal I know but it is a unique situation. Yes they could have banned transfers and extended th...

Im normally a XXL which should be a 50 - 52" chest. Clothing these days ain't tailored too lets say the more rounded guys 🤣 Its all rel...

Re: Southport away postponed
I said at the time that last season should have been played to its conclusion once it was safe to do so and then this season started later. It would have taken 2 or 3 years to get back to the august starting point. Yes there would have been contract problems but the FA could quite easily have banned...
