Re: When is null & void.......
It seems some clubs cannot accept the vote by the majority, it seems that self interest is more important to them. For the league to allow it with promotion is ridiculous.

What an amazing attitude some fans have, saying that they will not support our team if we play at the arena.Yes you may prefer somewhere else but a loyal fan will support them anywhere.

He was a very good player in the lower leagues but unfortunately time is catching up with him now,I was not convinced that he was up to this league standard and now two years later no.Always gave 110% and his commitment was never in question but we need young players that will improve our team.

I honestly don't think anything has been done to the pitch, if you in any doubt just compare the pitch from the same preseason fixture last year to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQm01xJjFJg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJH3Vl50dxU&list=PL2f88AqUX3F68kgvuxjw-WMQbg7MciaG9&index=49 Two poin...

Re: New signings and outgoings
Don’t like the Tommy bashing as he was a decent bloke but it didn’t work out for various reasons.Every new Manager builds their own Team so hope AA gets the breaks. The fact he was a decent bloke certainly does not mean he was a good manager. He proved by his signings and tactics that he was a poor ...

Re: New signings and outgoings
What if AA can get Ainge playing like he did at Harrogate?. Let's not forget before he came to us he had a couple of good scoring seasons. More than the 12 we've had last season. Keep the faith! His injuries have slowed him down, and he would have to be a lot fitter than last season, so I think his ...

Exactly,We wasted money without thought on uncovered stand at Bishop which was hardly used. That was one bad decision that was made by the people in charge at the time.I donate to everything at the club, but I did not did not make my money by wasting it on hair brain schemes like this.

Re: New signings and outgoings
Ainge Signed on too much money around £700 a week and he is not worth that. Better on loan somewhere after his displays towards the end of last season, when he did not look bothered.

I don’t mind that. Those deals were probably a write-off the minute they entered negotiations and the players/agents wanted silly money. There is probably not much chance of both parties going back to the deal, and we move on to other targets or players that we can afford and want to be here. We ha...

I do have a worry about tomorrow that with the timing of it and Tommy there, it's actually a rallying cry to contribute financially towards the club, Tommy has made mistakes, he's determined to turn it around next season etc. Etc., so please give him your backing and let's pull together. He may be ...

I will certainly continue,we must remember that we are supporting our club,we all have our views on how is spent. In the time supporting Darlo, well over 50 years we have had both good and poor management but I support the club. Now it is our club so it’s down to us all to help if we can.

How can you run a football club if the players call the shots, discipline is needed in any business.A good manager has to be respected, and there has to be a line between players and management. How can you respect someone who is now admitting such things. We will be a laughing stock now.

How can we afford to keep Portas even though he WAS a good player when he was fit,his injuries this season must put him on the doubtfully list to be resigned, unfortunately there can be no sentiment in football if we are to succeed.

Could it be that this is the first time since we started in the Northern League that our defenders have actually had to do any serious defending? Turns out most of them aren't as good at defending as we though. Galbraith has always been great going forward and delivering set pieces, but he lacks pa...

Our defence was good enough in the Evostick but it leaked a lot of goals last season proving that some had found there level, and it has continued this season, why cannot some people not accept that fact,no one is complaining about the effort the players put in,some are just not good enough for this l...

Anybody how supported us through the 70s and 80s know we never had a great supporter base, the people who said they would support us when we came back to town are mainly the ones who said they would not go to the arena, they have excuses not to come, we have a basic fan base who came to Bishop and wil...

Well Valks has more pace that both Scott and Burgess who have reached there limit,is big and strong and surely will not make more mistakes than those two.Yes he needs experience but you only get experience by playing.

Re: Compensation from Gray breaking contract?
Well what has happened is done now,Grey will probably take our best players for little. It ironical that since we played York that things have gone poorly.I don’t believe that he could access his new squad in 24 hours, and obviously knew about York’s interest before he said. This is time when we all ...
