Re: A HISTORY LESSON - MIKE PEDEN, ET AL
Anyone know what happened to the Coppinger and Robinson money? We’re they sold when Peaden was the owner? If so I can guess where the money went

Re: Nasty defenders
Is our defence the major problem? Looking at the goals conceded last season in the league it was 11 conceded in 11 games. For me it was the other end of the pitch where we have problems. We still do not have a goal scorer that's going to get 20+ goals a season. Look at the team at the top, Glouceste...

Re: Taking the Knee
I think this needs to be scrapped and replaced with something else- there is too much mis-conception around this and the BLM movement. It has created more division rather than attempting to reduce it.

Its a shame but it's been on the cards.
The squad will be broken up but on the pitch we weren't great. I presume Nicky Hunt will retire and a few others will go.

Re: Season paused
Given the league position we are in I am not too unhappy with this decision - I cannot see the season continuing or being finished.
Alun sounds as though he wanted it stopped as well - on the pitch we haven't been great recently so he needs to go back to the drawing board.

Re: Farsley coverage
Saltmer apart that was poor. Anyone still think we are serious playoff contenders ? We are so predictable at the moment and most worryingly we only seem to have one way of playing. Tough conditions tonight but again we hardly troubled their keeper again. A A has to come up with some new ideas or we...

Re: Farsley coverage
Thoughts from tonights game and from the last few games: - Saltmer MOTM - he has taken his chance as far as I'm concerned and should have a run of games - Adam Campbell is not for me, he's too inconsistent (he gets subbed off every game between the 60-70 mins) - Charman is unproven - Tyrone we know ...

Re: Blyth game
The team looked solid against Spenny, but did not offer much in the way of creativity - and Spenny just put an extra man on Sousa to try and keep him quiet. Against Blyth I think we need an extra forward thinking midfielder - so I think Rivers will come in for Holness, who looked as though he picked...

I do think Hudson needs as chance - otherwise what's the point.
Sousa to start yes, but Hudson on the other flank.

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
Just watched the interview with the Bristol Rovers manager and he said his favourite goal was the first one, basically because there was nothing in the game at that point. The worst bit for me was how we capitulated before half time. I think there will be a lot of changes Wednesday night and the Atk...

Re: Team v BPA
A couple of things I noticed from last night, BPA had three men on Sousa all night as soon as he got the ball they surrounded him - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know he's our danger man. Also they kept fouling Wheatley - maybe they were expecting him to react. BPA parked the bus second half...

Hopefully the North East has hit the peak and should now drop - unfortunately the drop may be slow so it could take a while to drop a Tier.

I read today about O.G.S. bemoaning the lack of fans at Old Trafford. Man Utd's home form is poor at present. Re The Arena, I'm reliably told that the players are keen to play there. If I was a player I would want to play at the Arena, its a proper stadium, Blackwell is a proper non league ground.

Re: Tyrone O’Neill
You would think that it would be the end of Amantchi, but I don't think Campbell is an out and out striker - he is a wide player - so bringing in O'Neil would be 3 strikers, and with the amount of games we have we need bodies. I am looking forward to seeing more of Hudson, I'm sure he will get his c...

Re: Alfreton...
It will be a real contrast in styles and the one thing we'll have to be is physically strong. Billy Heath's still foaming at the mouth at the way they lost to Leamington 4-3 after being 3-0 up at half-time. They are a massive, long ball side, led up front by 6ft 3in beast Jake Day and they'll try t...

Re: FA rules on abandonment
I've watched the incident again - and Hunt was actually fouled, so the ref got it wrong. The Boston player went for the ball and slipped (I don't think the foul was deliberate) and he ended up slide tackling Hunt who because of this headed the ball backwards which went to a Boston player and from th...

Re: Darlo v Boston Match Thread
First of all I hope Hunt is OK. Secondly I think the result should stand and we move on. We were up against a well drilled side today and we couldn't cope with their high press and ended up pumping long balls forward - when Charman went off the ball just didnt stick. My only gripe with Boston was th...

Re: Bury FC fan - in need of some advice
It was difficult at first and I lost interest and fell out with the game for a while, but still kept an eye what was going on. However it was the first time I attended a game under our new name that I thought, do you know what, this is what its all about. We were sold a dream by George Reynolds, and...

I think erico was a really good signing from alun ,he saw what the lad can do and I expect alun and daz to get him even better than he is ,I also see him moving on if he continues to be the player we have seen, he's definitely got potential to move further up the leagues, I would love it to be with...

Re: Raj Singh finally speaks to the poolies
So pleased we are away from this sort of situation and away from Raj. It’s so obvious he wants to get his hands on the stadium, but he is fighting a losing battle there as the council will never hand it over to the likes of him. If I were are a Hartlepool fan I would be getting the fans together to ...

Re: Darlington V Tadcaster Albion FA Cup
Charman in the second half was not mobile at all, its going to take him time to build up to playing 90 mins twice a week, he does look a player though and did well playing up top on his own.
