Re: Congratulations to Huddersfield Town

Ha! I still occasionally look on your main board so missed this post until now. The dream is all but over. The greedy league is impossible without mega millions available. We got there on the cheap compared to some teams but agents demand massive fees and salaries when they know you're in the money....

Amazing posts on this thread. Real supporters watching real football. Respect I gave up watching Nottingham Forest just after they had secured a second European Cup to support Darlington-never regretted it!! Well deserved for all those faithful fans who have persevered through thin and thinner. Absolutely m...

Re: After a bizarre day in Blackpool

Not sure about a refund yet or indeed about what the FL/FA will do about the result. The Potter incident was funny and helped spend a few minutes of what was a very long hour waiting for a decision to be made about whether or not the game would resume. The Police and stewards did nothing to make the...

Ha! I remember that goal - ecstasy for you and agony for us.

Always said I'd have a drink with Pete next time our sides met but we might die of thirst before it happens. You never know though so we'll live in hope. I wish you all another great season you deserve it.

Re: Who is your team after Darlo?

England is the only acceptable answer. Anyone who supports or has a soft spot for any other team is a wanker and shouldn't be allowed to post on this board. It's as bad as them Irish clowns that phone in on 606 supporting Man U, Liverpool, arsenal etc. tossers! The lot of them. Ha! I have a soft sp...

Re: Chuffed for you

Thanks for that my good friend. I think it'll be a while before we're back playing Huddersfield. Do you remember the last time we played at your place and there was that speculative lob from the half-way line. I've never laughed so much in my life. Congrats on staying in the Championship, I was roo...

Re: Chuffed for you

Thanks - it was a real nail-biter for both sets of supporters. It was really bizarre about two minutes from the end when their keeper had the ball in his area. Instructions were shouted like crazy from the bench and all the players backed away into the other half leaving the keeper to tap the ball s...

Chuffed for you

After all the madness, pain, misery, uncertainty, at last you have something to celebrate. What a fabulous season you've had and what great reward for all those who fund raised, donated and worked tirelessly (and without reward) for the existence of your club. The nightmare has turned into a dream a...

Re: Raj wants your questions.

Raj, why do people like you pump money into something as financially dangerous as football? It can't possibly be as an investment so is it because you love Darlo and love is blind? (and I don't intend this to be offensive but just realistic). If Darlo were to find form and got the luck they deserve,...

Cheers Gramps - doesn't look too good then. As I've stated before, I've had a soft spot for Darlo since the 70s but found your site a few years ago when the mysterious Ted Forster was conning you all (well, most of you) by pretending that he was offering to buy the club after the Reynolds disaster. ...

Scott and Sizer

Who are Scott & Sizer? Are they businessmen who invested in the hope of profit or supporters who put money in as a loan? It seems that Darlo will be in serious trouble if they won't compromise with Raj on their loans. Does anyone know them enough to comment on whether this is a possibility? If they ...
