Re: New Manager Interviews this week

The appeal for Armstrong for me is that he’ll probably be able to bring in a good few lads front blyth. Not sure whether that will be the same for Bower. We’ve got a big job on to rebuild A very rational reasoning - both are quality candidates. I'm also surprised and impressed that we've had no lea...

Re: New Manager Interviews this week

Bower has had Bradford playing good football and consistently challenging for the playoffs.

I’d be happy with him.

What is this obsession with ex players he was dropped at York city because of a loss of form. Please please let's sign a hungry and ambitious young keeper Jake turner esque it's the most important position on the pitch. And at the end of the day it didn't take Adam Bartlett long to show where is tr...

The income from food is negligible in such small amounts. They'd probably be better just renting out the huts to local traders as concessions, for a token amount. Support some local businesses. Food trucks and the like are all the rage these days, i dare say someone would be prepared to do it and g...

I’m shocked that Alan White has got 5 votes! Surely part of the problem rather than the solution? A team who couldn’t defend for s##t all season I voted for him...natural leader, FL/local contacts, great defender, strong links to town and club, good work done with Academy. I’d also say that a) we d...

I've heard contrasting rumours regarding Holness and Nicholson. Suppose it depends who you listen to. I’d be pleased if Nicholson is on a 2 year deal. The same with Elliot. My only question would be that now TW has left, do they still want to be here? (Taking into consideration their travel etc, et...

I dont think there is anyone who thinks BM is great - I’d leave there tomorrow but getting all misty eyed over a ground that was no better is pointless Again agree. I don't like BM but it takes a special sort of sad twat to wish we were back at HP. Agreed. Many are conflating our on pitch success w...

Re: Squad for Next Season

Football is a game of options and this is especially true regarding Burn. Tommy initially claimed he would build his team around him, but fell out with him behind the scenes big-style and we've barely seen him. I can't say he chronically underperformed as he simply hasn't played and looked okay, alb...

I can only imagine he is holding the fort until a new appointment is made then will either look after the academy or leave entirely.

BM is far better.

I had a much better viewpoint at HP because I always stood on the (out of bounds) embankment.

When the embankment was enforced close (as it was supposed to be every game), the view was the same as BM.

Re: Wright has left the building

It’s a bit odd the manager getting sacked , then being in charge for the last game, why put the guy through that. Because the game is tomorrow and it alleviates all the tension and pressure on him. He gets to finish his contract with dignity, say goodbye to fans and those at the club, as do they in...

I don't think this means that White is necessarily to be retained by the new manager but is kept on to keep the academy, etc, fully functioning. When new appointments are made this may be reevaluated.

Wonder how Morpeth town's finances are these days also could maybe put Harrogate town into the equation. I don't like BM either, I'd prefer to be back at HP. It doesn't feel like a football ground, it feels like a rugby ground, where they play football.
