Drewe Broughton

Just watched a recording of Harrys Heroes: The Full English and former striker Drewe Broughton made a cameo appearance. Was brought in to have a conversation with Paul Merson as his gambling issues were starting to take hold again. Broughton was titled as ex-addict and addiction counsellor. Quoting ...

Re: Mr Q in action in the DCC mascot race

I was there and good to see Darlo represented. When he was presented it was as Feethams and not Mr Q. Is he getting a new name...?

Only saw the 2nd half but thought he handled it well. Especially the lino who flagged the free kick that sourced the goal.

Re: Harrogate RA v Darlington FC

Heard him say 2 weeks when he came back in the ground. To be honest with you, the injury was from him putting his arm out to stop a fall from what i thought to be a snidey push. Accident yes, but he should not of been pushed.

Lets just focus on something other than Dan Burn = money for a change. I for one am absolutely chuffed for Dan that that he has started against Man U at Old Trafford..... on merit and not because of injuries. Well done.

Re: Darlo v Curzon Sat 8th Feb

I had a look at the pitch today at 2pm and there was a line of standing water down the middle of the pitch, stretching well outside the centre circle. In my opinion after tonights game not going ahead that there is a good chance that the game goes ahead if there is no further downpours. Lets look at...

Fulham are edging nearer the relegation zone and their current form isnt great at all. Not saying they will go down......but if they do it could put any rumoured deal in doubt or potentially reduce any asking price.

Rod Liddle gave us a mention in his column this morning... Re: Game off today

Just to follow up the earlier comments regarding the location of the HP pitch. Yes, the ground is built on a flood plain and the Gaunless does break its banks but does not come close enough to cause issue. Yes, the wider area is marsh land but the ground itself is in fact on a reclaimed spoil heap. ...

In my opinion, and if somebody has already raised i apologise, if Spennymoor win the Vase then they will want to go up. If they dont win the Vase then they will stay in NL to give it another crack next year. They may not state it openly but the Vase is an objective to be 'ticked off' before promotio...
