Re: Sponsor a Goal Scheme 16/17
4 games to go in the season, and the Sponsor a Goal total stands at £2300. How about a final push of pledges to get the amount closer to that from last season (£3300)? Pledges taken on Clean Sheets, Points, Goals Scored by the team or named players, or anything else that can be measured/reported on;...

Re: Sponsor a Goal Scheme 16/17
Two questions: 1) Will you be putting the sponsorship form on here to download as in previous seasons? 2) Can I delay nominating a goalscorer until I've seen the starting line-up for the first game? Cheers  1. I've not had chance to do a form yet, will try to get one created tonight. Pledges ...

Re: Team news?
Excellent turnout for a preseason friendly against an under 21 team. The team can't be criticized for the result, Newcastle were a very good team who were quick moved the ball around nicely and never gave us a second on the ball. The scoreline could have been much more than this if not for Jameson ...

Re: Sponsor a Goal in the Euros
I was going to just go for goals/penalties/clean sheets by teams or overall, but following some pledges (which I will never turn down unless ridiculous) and queries this will be opened up to more options. Overall Goals scored Clean Sheets Penalties Scored and Saved (including or not including Penalt...

Sponsor a Goal against Salford
As with all matches, we are taking pledges for today's game against Salford. Over on Twitter we have had people backing Cartman, Gaskell, Hardy, Galbraith, the back 4, as well as Clean sheets and a win. A special bonus had been offered if Brown 'accidentally' puts the ball full force into John's mus...

Have made a transfer of £855 today to the club. Thanks to those that could manage to make a payment early, bigger thanks to those that have made a payment based on future goals scored, and massive thanks for those that paid us a Xmas bonus. Here's to 2016, getting games on, and lots of goals scored....

Re: Sponsor a Goal scheme 2015/16
As we head into the New Year, why not start a new pledge? How about a pound for a team goal? A fiver for a player of your choice to score? A couple of quid for a clean sheet? 50p a point? Or any other amount? Considering the forecast for the next couple of weeks, how about a pledge for each postpone...

Re: Sponsor a Goal scheme 2015/16
Many thanks for those that have sent funds across in the past few days. I realise this is always a tricky time financially for us all.
I've been in contact with Dave Mills, and he is extremely greatful.
I'll be transferring the money early next week, so still time to send it across.

{Copy of email sent earlier today} Hi All Hope you have all had a good Christmas. As you may have seen from the message on the Darlington FC Website, the lack of home games in the past couple of months is starting to have an impact on the clubs cash flow. To help a little with this, I am planning to...

Re: Workington v Darlo Match Thread
Thought we were unlucky as the injury to Galbraith disrupted us when we were getting a hold of it... Both away defeats have followed an early injury to a member of the team leading to enforced changes. I know we shouldn't plan for such things, but we don't seem to be able to cope with substitutions...

First match today (stating the obvious)
Pledges accepted for the season as a whole or individual matches.
How about a couple of quid for a win?
A fiver for a penalty scored or saved?
50p for every goal scored?

Sponsor a Goal scheme 2015/16
The scheme is returning for its fourth season, having raised over £5000 so far for the club. Pledges are accepted for anything that can be measured (generally use the Echo report or Evostik website for clarification) In the past 3 seasons, people have backed goals scored by the team or an individual...

Surely people might want to wait for fixtures to be announced so they can see how many matches they would be likely to make before committing to a season ticket? (not having a go Charlie)
