Re: Reserve Side News
and , to be fair to Spenny, they did save the Coxhoe team to play in that form rather than fold completely

Re: Reserve Side News
Yeh but we're no Spennymoor, we do things by the book. I'd imagine that the prospect of a few extra people at games might just swing it our way. Jimmy do we know if there are any other applicants for a place in the top division? its not the way they got in thats the biggie, mate. Its contracted pla...

we went into a play-off final... Friday 26th May 2000. Lashing it down all day, Wembley pitch similar to that abandoned game at Kendal this season. But we turned up and put in a really good performance for 70 minutes before tiring and losing 1-0. Was the occasion that gave what the entire footballi...

Re: Reserve team for next season.
more likely to get into this new development league the Wearside are starting? To get in we'd have to be voted in so any vacancy would be chosen by the existing members. Reserve teams arent particularly popular - Spenny only got in by way of a name change for an existing member, and that created qui...

Re: New Shirt
Adidas supplied the 3 hoop shirt worn in late 60's and early 70's. We were maybe the first team wearing their shirts with 3 hoops or stripes. Old DFC never checked this up to get a 50th year anniversary shirt/sponsorship. surely this could still happen? Fifty years on late 60s takes us to 2018 or 2...

A five week month, so a long time since payday, five weeks before Christmas, so moneys tight.........but a game on the back of a great unbeaten run?
Balancing it all up, think its probably o.k

dont suppose anyone knows what condition the pitch is like at the moment? Was at the Wannasee Tribute festival they had a few weeks ago. The weather was crap and the pitch didnt look great. this was my post originally, and my opinion aint changed regardless of the postponements weve had - still prefer grass, but if the grants were there to install one at a reasonable cost and proof was there that demand for the facility would make us good money I would say do it

Some people are mixing up truly terrible players with players that either didn't live up to their billing, or simply didn't stay around very long. Whoever mentioned Matt Clarke, who was a mainstay of a pretty reasonable League 2 defence for several seasons, is quite frankly clueless. Agreed...........

He'll stay as long as MG wants him to, but has no plans to ever drop back down to the NL. He also said what a great influence Tony Normans been. Would like to think that we have him for a g...
