Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports
For me the MOM was Cedric main he's a really good footballer holding the ball up well, tackling good winning the ball and some off his passes are sublime straight to a forward mostly finding their target.

Reff Gareth Thomas
The reffing standards are very poor today allowing Peterborough sports to hold and block pulling shirts . he has not once given anything for all of this going on . very poor standard referee.linos no better not giving anything.tough game.

Re: Blyth V Darlington
A lot saying Blyth were poor and we were the much better team, certainly didn't seem like that to me. We were very lucky to go in at half time in the lead, spent most of it chasing shadows. Second half we were better but it was still a very poor game, although not surprising given the lack of squad...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Support was fantastic last night never stopped singing the whole game the players appreciated it and spent quite a while applauding the fan at the end , great night for all DFC fans player's staff.another vital 3 points, keep it going and we can hold our position in the NLN . Hope Blyth can also sta...

Saturdays flare incident
We as a fans collective have got to help the club stop these idiot's throwing flares onto the pitch ,it's getting ridiculous, how they weren't pick up by spennymoors security i don't know but everyone was was being searched pre entering the ground. Somone knows who the culprits are it's a cost to th...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington
It was a bit of a surprise to see left-back Reece Staunton come on as a second half sub for Spenny given that he wasn't listed as a sub in their published team sheet before the game. Dan Myers had been getting absolutely roasted down that flank in the first half and they obviously had to stem the f...

Needed points minimum
Keeping the carrot dangling, I think we need win a minimum of 3 with 2 or 3 draws that will get us to 53 points, getting to be a very close call.

Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
That's exactly what Singh did kept the golden share. With out one you cannot play in the football perimid hence Darlington new owners had to ask for a new share which was granted with the previso that the name changes as there was already a share in the name of Darlington FC. So we became Darlington...

Nelo slight hamstring , so maybe a week or two.will have to wait until it's accessed. Good game poor reff but I think spennymoor just shaded it.on to Blyth on. Tues.

Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
They do...the question you have raised is whether they should appoint themselves. You are suggesting that the Football Club AGM should effectively be attended by the DFC directors and shareholders (DFCSG.would be represented by their elected board) - and these would effectively all be the same peop...

People, there is no big investor had there been they would have shown up and took an interest long before now.we have been going from 2011/2012 , it's just not going to happen. Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
The only relevant point is this posters reasoning for the post. He's trying to stir up trouble.
Fan owned is best scenario for our club at this present time . that should be all he needs.past DFCSG member.just what do you want.

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
Let's give Matty young all the praise he deserves but don't knock Tommy Taylor , Tommy is a good NLN keeper who be will be back in when Matty's loan expires or when he's on international duty shortly, I think 2 games will be missing, Tommy is quite capable and this injury spell out will get him fit ...

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
Special mention for the referee and his linesmen
Were top notch no silly decisions every cheat was sussed, like their big guy going down when he lost the ball fairly, spotted straight away and told to get himself up ,best reffing this season kept the game in motion
Well done officials.

Blown away with matty Cornish he's a very good all-round player quick and has the ability to pick a pass . Makes himself available to receive the ball as well. makings of a quality player, hopefully we can get him to stay for next season.

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
There was an England goal keeping scout at today's game as he was also there last week watching Matty said Matty very highly thought off within the Sunderland and England camps , another keeper who played for Darlington FC looking good for an England full cap in the future.

I like to believe that should we stay up ans steve Watson stays we can muster a decent BTB for him
To assemble a team next season, no matter where we are i would think he's doing enough to be allowed to set us up for the season ahead..

Both sending off,s were correct according to the laws of the game, both cinical fouls, second was clearly taken out the player depending what angle you were seeing from.

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24
Loid ,you are correct it was management decision to take siddic off.
Good decision as it made sure of keeping 11 players on the pitch.another indiscretion and siddic was 2nd yellow.
