Re: Weak Link
Robbie I disagree. I was disappointed to see Dowson go off and Purewal stop on however Dowson may have been carrying a knock?
Re: Weak Link
Mikedfc = clueless. Fact! Can you answer my question? How many crosses did he put in from playing on the left wing and how many times did he beat his man today? As per the thread title he is our weak link, his 1st touch and ball control is very poor. I admit he has done a job but I'd replace him ne...
Re: Weak Link
What did he do on the left today in the 1st half? How many crosses did he supply? How many times did he beat his man?

Re: Scarborough and Darlington next season
As long as Darren Foreman's not playing. Remember him scoring at Feethams must have been early nineties sure they beat us 3-2 god knows how I remember that one!
Re: Weak Link
What is his I'd preferred position? Please do not say on the left wing after today! It may seem like I'm slagging him off. I admire his efforts but he just doesn't do it for me.
Re: Weak Link
I had no expectations of Pawel having never seen him play before the same with Dowson. Having watched them both I prefer Dowson regardless of goals scored due to his superior movement and work rate. Utter drivel. Dowson and Purewal are two completely different players, so to attack Purewal for not ...
Re: Weak Link
Terry Galbraith doesnt have a right foot but does that mean we drop him? Of course not because he brings something to the team no one else can. Same with Purewal, he is our only real threat in the air, we miss him when he's not in the team. I reckon even he would admit that he needs more goals but ...

They were very stubborn at there place and couldn't fault there effort. Les your right towards the end it was f@king freezing. I'd love us to win it next Saturday as oppose to a Wednesday. Hope it's a sellout.

Re: Weak Link
I agree we have a good team. I'm stating Amuar does nothing for me. 21 goals is a decent return however with a 130 odd goals you would expect a striker to get at Least 30 od of these. He just doesn't do it for me. Prefer we keep Dowson (he grafts his heart out and earns his goals) and find an out a...
Re: Weak Link
When have we banged it long? Whe have beat teams by playing quality football all season long.

Re: Weak Link
He's clearly better playing on the left but he's doing a job for the team up front. I expect MG to bring another forward to the club in the summer and Amar will get more chance to play left wing He played in the left today 1st half he was so out of place it was untrue! If he is anatural left winger...

Re: Weak Link
Team has played well all season but think one player who has deteriated is purewal, I just dont see what he offers his goals have dried up, his first touch is poor and he always seems to be then spending his time trying to get the ball under control I agree I think he was very poor today. How he st...

Re: No.5 Count them down - Celtic Nation (Home) - Mon 15th A
What would be considered a good crowd for a Monday night? Only one day between this and the last home game and not many (if any) away fans will not help the matter. 1,200 would be good, a bit warmer, no chance the match will be off, sadly the 19:45 kick off doesn't help the ones who bring kids mind...

If that was the case justice done. I thought the ref bottled the red on the Scott challenge because of the earlier incidents.Quakerz wrote:That was Vipond, and yes it should have been a red.
He was the player sent off after being subbed, I believe.

Re: Darlington FC V Waste Auckland
The crowd will have a big part to play today I think. If we can get under the skins of the West players it'll be inevitable that someone will get sent off. Garthwaite should get some proper stick. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 I have no doubt in my mind West will have at least one player s...

Re: No.6 Count them down - West Auckland (Home)
I thougt today would be our hardest game just based on oor 3-2 home win. Bay were the best side I've seen bar Spenny. We just brushed them aside today. Not concerned about West they will beat themselves and end up with 9 or 10 men. I thought Shildon away would be tough but I think we will take about...

I know some things obviously never quite went right but Denis managed to bring a lot of people together in his time as Chairman and any success we have this season will be largely due to ...
