Re: Darlo v York

Hatfield was far the best player on the pitch and by far our best signing in recent times , I've watched this lad for a few years and was looking forward to seeing him last season when we played at Guiseley.. Saturday you could see he was getting frustrated with his team mates because they weren't o...

Re: Darlo v York

Hatfield should have been man of the match he never stopped running afraid I don`t know why Thommo get`s it as in recent games don`t think he has been up to his usual standard. Thought we deserved something from game today but as everyone knows we have no cutting edge up front so once we concede ga...

Re: Extended ban

It's a shame for the lad, We all get frustrated at games and people swear as I do the odd occasions BUT what I find incredible is he is on a ban and he still gets in to trouble.. I just think he is an attention seeker who plays up to his mates which is a real shame as he is growing up as a dad so re...

Re: Darlo v York

York's injury problems are causing them worry, causing a cancellation of a midweek practice game, from the yorkpress web site --- "Early-season casualties Paddy McLaughlin and Dan Maguire were joined in the treatment room by Steve McNulty two weeks ago, while striker Jordan Burrow was left out of S...

Re: Josh Heaton

He’s been doing a Jonny Burn impression all season, best to get rid of him and move on. It will be Bascome or Holness next, one of them won’t make the bench once Atkinson and Liddle are back. I’d say Bascome as Wheatley covers Atkinson and Holness covers Hatfield. You really don't have a clue do yo...

If Headley has been signed to play in midfield I’d expect to see Bascome made surplus to requirements. Well have so many centre midfielders it’s a joke. We need all players , it doesn't matter where they play, we cant afford to get rid at the moment in our current situation... Moon man Sent from my...

Re: Gloucester V Darlington

It seems like players who don’t play suddenly become world beaters. Atkinson in the middle means will have Wheatley, Homless, Bascome and Hedley as reserve centre midfielders and no recognised right back at the club who is fit. Laing needs dropping, He’s too soft. I don’t care if he can play these ...

Re: Darlington V Blyth

Somebody out there must have the stats to prove this, but i expect the number of goals scored from long corners this season is about 1. Also feel that several teams have scored in a breakaway after a corner because our backs were stranded upfield. And it just happens to us !!!!! I'd say most teams ...

Re: Darlington V Blyth

You can’t include Bascome as Wheatley is much better and Donawa is a sub! I also doubt Holmes would star .. in his two games he was very ineffective. So only Trotman and Liddle missing with Atkinson and to a lesser extent, Watson as able deputies. It was scrappy, Blyth had good chances and we didn’...

I suspect when they do go off for international duty then Alun will go into the loan market - I think he won't at the moment as we can make it work with the players we have but when Bascombe is gone then Atkinson will move into centre mid - I think then we will look to get either a left or right ba...
